What Reviewers are saying:

This was a fantastic short story! It made me want more after that last page, but it also left it open for the reader to create their own outcome. There was suspense and even a little humor.

The story is well-written and the characters are well-defined. Jan Sikes is a natural storyteller. If you buy this book you won’t be disappointed. I highly recommend the book.

There was a woman betrayed and heartbroken with a friend trying to cheer her up. I could easily imagine sitting with these two women, making a doll to work through all the bad feelings with an unexpected outcome. This short story was a quick read, but a complete story that I thoroughly enjoyed—and highly recommend!

In this electrifying short story, the reader gets the opportunity to decide the outcome of this story for themselves. From the first page onward, Sikes interjects the right amount of creepiness, coaxing the reader toward the final scene.
