#TarotTuesday – Page of Cups

Welcome to another Tarot Tuesday!

If you are just joining me, let me explain the inspiration to begin these posts. In Texas, and all across the country, Taco Tuesday is a popular day when Tacos are usually 99 cents. So, I had the inspiration, or Angel nudge as I like to think of it, to create a Tarot Tuesday. Each Tuesday I will post a different Tarot card and give its meaning. I pray and ask for the right card that will bring a universal message.

I created a short video to demonstrate how I pull the card for the posts. If you’re interested, here’s a LINK.

Today’s card is the PAGE OF CUPS!

The Page of Cups suggests a new idea or opportunity has come to you out of the blue. Your creative energy is flowing, and now the question is how you will express it. Will you snap up this new idea and turn it into something, or will you let someone else bring it to fruition? It is up to you! Spend time exploring the idea to see if you want to move forward.

The Page of Cups invites you to have an open and curious mind. Be open to anything – including a fish popping its head out of a cup! It is with a curious mind that you will discover new aspects of life and yourself. Open your mind to all possibilities, especially those of a creative or intuitive nature, you will be pleasantly surprised. The Page of Cups is asking you to embrace your inner child and believe that anything is possible.

This card often appears when you are being called to trust your intuition and be open to the multitude of intuitive messages coming your way. Look for synchronicities and signs from nature that will guide you on your path. They may come from unexpected places, or they may not even make sense to your rational mind; be open to the possibility and ready to discover new aspects of yourself. It is like following ‘intuitive breadcrumbs’ – one intuitive clue leads you to the next thing, and the next, and the next. And before you know it, you have found yourself in a place of full alignment, happiness and bliss. All by trusting your intuition and going with the flow.

In a practical sense, the Page of Cups can indicate that you will receive an unexpected and pleasant surprise. The Pages are often known as the messenger cards, and with the Page of Cups, you may receive a message related to the emotions, intuition, or creative endeavors. It might be the birth of a baby, an engagement or marriage, a new love interest, or the offer of a new project. It is not a surprise you can anticipate or force; be ready to receive when the moment comes.

I absolutely love this card. I spend so much time in my imagination, and always have. This card tells me it’s okay and be ready when the fish pops out of the cup! 🙂 I’m working on my storyline for the third book in The White Rune Series, and I’m ready for that surprising fish! How about you?

As always, thank you for joining me! See you next Tuesday for another inspiring message from the Universe via the Tarot Cards!

  1. Thank you very much, Jan! Sorry I have had problems signing in to my email -account. And there are over 100 emails in my inbox. 😂 I have to go through all my posts. Have a beautiful weekend 🌺 🌺 🌺

  2. I’m afraid I’m not very good at dealing with fish popping out of cups. lol Something (yet another thing) to work on, I suppose. Great post, Jan.

  3. My creativity came out this weekend in the form of a way to protect our lemon tree from the few days of sub-zero weather we see here on the west coast. Rather than going to the extreme of a greenhouse in our limited RV lot, I suggested pallets. Easy to assemble and take down for summer- yes, I know, I’m a genius 🙂

  4. I am only visiting your post today. I really wanted to read your TarotTuesday post. What a great card you picked. All opportunities are open. I am curious now and will stay open to the wonders and signposts the universe may show me!

    1. I am truly honored, Erika. Thank you for choosing my blog to visit! YES! We must stay open and watch for signs. Opportunities are all around us and we don’t want to be looking away when the fish pops up out of the cup! Have a wonderful day! Hugs!

      1. Exactly, what a waste of opportunities that would be. I do love your Tarot posts, Jan! It is a bit crazy currently (again… lol). But I did not want to miss your post 😊 and I am glad I didn’t!

  5. That new idea is waving at me and I looked at it for a few seconds. I’m not done with the old idea yet so let me wait a little longer for the surprise! Great card, Jan!

Thanks, John. I’ll see where this one takes me. Thanks for the encouragement.

    1. The old saying, “nothing ventured, nothing gained” comes to mind, Denise. 😉 Best wishes and go for it! I’ll be cheering you on! Thanks for stopping by!

  7. This card couldn’t be more timely. I’ve been tinkering with an idea for a new book for a few weeks now, and keep putting it on hold because it’s just so far outide my normal comfort zone. Yet it won’t leave me alone. Methinks it’s time to just grab that fish by the tail. Now I’m excited. 😊

    1. I love this comment, Soooz! And if it means a new story from you, then I am super excited! We grow when we dare to step outside our comfort zones. Thank you for stopping by and sharing your excitement!

  8. Perfect timing for me. I was struck with another book idea yesterday. I think my creative energy is flowing. Now if I can just channel some of that into NaNo, LOL.

    1. I believe in you, Mae! If anyone can do it, you can. I wish you great success and how exciting to have another story idea! Thanks for stopping by!

  9. This may be the first card that I can’t connect to. Then again, it’s supposed to be surprise when it hits me, right? Lol! Guess it hasn’t hit me yet. 😉

    1. Not every card is going to apply to everyone’s personal situation, but here’s to fish popping out, Yvette! Thanks for stopping by!
