Monday #Motivation #Meditation #TarotReading

Welcome to another start to a fabulous week ahead. I appreciate everyone who took the time to vote in the poll regarding these posts. The results were overwhelmingly in favor of keeping the Monday #Motivation #Meditation #TarotReading as they are. That’s not to say I may not change them up from time to time, but it made me happy to know my followers enjoy these posts!

The theme this week seems to be all about positive energy. The world around us is filled with turmoil, disasters, and death. So in the midst of that, we would do well to keep our mental health positive and light. That is our only weapon against the darkness that threatens to overwhelm us. So, this meditation is designed to do exactly that. Enjoy!

When I pulled these cards for the reading this week, I literally gasped. You’ll see why.

The Suit of Pentacles Tarot cards deal with the physical or external level of consciousness and thus mirror the outer situations of your health, finances, work, and creativity. And look at all those Pentacles!

The Seven of Pentacles shows you understand the value of putting in time and energy now for longer-term rewards and have a strong desire to invest in sustainable results. You are not looking for quick wins. You also want to make sure you are putting your attention on the right areas instead of wasting time and effort on tasks that will not deliver any value.

When this card appears in a Tarot reading, see it as an invitation to step back from the day-to-day operations and look at the bigger picture. Celebrate what you have created and assess your progress so far.

We’ve had the Three of Pentacles before and it represents teamwork or collaboration. Each person has an important role to play, and when they come together as a team, they can create something much more significant than if they were to undertake the project on their own. So, when the Three of Pentacles turns up in a Tarot reading, take it as a sign to collaborate with others, creating synergies to achieve big results.

The Ten of Pentacles is a positive sign that you have reached a point of completion and accomplishment in your journey. As a Pentacles card, this sense of accomplishment is likely to be the result of a successful career path, smart financial investments, and a possible committed and long-term relationship. You have accumulated wealth and abundance through your hard work and dedication and can now relish sharing this wealth with others. This is one of those cards that promises everything will eventually come together and you will be proud of everything you achieved.

To sum it up, the Seven-card is all about looking at the bigger picture, not wasting time or effort on tasks that will not deliver any value, while we team up with others for an amazing payoff.

On a personal level, I was recently contacted by my publisher to inform me that my book, “Ghostly Interference,” has been chosen to be turned into a video game. My jaw literally dropped to the floor. I had never heard of such a thing. The rest of the email said I would receive an advance and royalties for seven years. So, when these pentacle cards showed up this week in the reading, I sat stunned again at the synchronicity of the Universe. You seriously cannot make this stuff up!

Have a GREAT week!

What a wonderful reading, Jan, and it so fits the good news. I am very happy for you. YAY! πŸ€—

  3. I’m so happy for you, Jan! I can’t wait to see the game version of your book. I can connect to this reading as well. I completed and published a new short story (and completed a road trip…lol!). I’m collaborating with teachers again for the upcoming school year, and I’m working on a new project which will bring me much happiness. Win-win-win! πŸ™‚

    1. Those are all definitely “wins” Yvette!!! Congratulations on all of them. I loved the short story. And I hope it wins the contest! Thank you for stopping by and leaving a comment today and glad you enjoyed the post! Hugs!

Your great news sure fits this reading, Jan! We definitely need a more positive focus in this world πŸ™‚ Thanks for the meditation too.

    1. Yes, we do, Denise! And the more each of us focuses on the positive, the bigger it will grow! Thank you for stopping by and glad you enjoyed the meditation!

  6. A good meditation and reading, Jan. And I saw this clearly when I was going through my books this morning to what I needed to reorder after the Lubbock Arts Festival. At seeing the 32 titles, a feeling of accomplishment wrapped around me. And I have two more slated to release and in contract negotiations for a brand new series. I’m not done.

I also saw these cards on a national level. We’ve accomplished an amazingly lot as a country that was founded on everyone working together. I see the second card as a warning or wake up call. Right now so many are living a “me” life, concerned only about themselves and ready to fight anyone who tries to make them care about their fellow man. This country will crumble if we don’t start working together for the good of everyone. No man is an Island and that’s the stark truth. We all need each other–even when we think we don’t. No matter what side of the spectrum we’re on, everything each of us does affects others. Only working together will get us back to the wealth and abundance of our country. I’ll get off my stump now. Sorry. Love you, Sister.

    1. Oh yeah, I forgot to say HUGE CONGRATS on the game company picking up your book!!! I’m so excited for you. I think this is a very excellent opportunity.

    2. You make a really good point, here, sister. We do all need to work together and get the sense of “we” instead of “me.” Thirty-two books! Wow!! That’s an amazing accomplishment. I am SO proud of you! And each story is unique with unforgettable characters. Thank you for leaving a comment! I love you!

    1. It’s pretty darned awesome, Teri. I will be making some big noise about it once I actually have a contract. πŸ™‚ Thanks for stopping by!

  7. I love the synchronicity of this post!! Great cards and a video game of your book is beyond amazing! Better nowadays than a movie!

    1. I am always amazed by the synchronicity of the Universe, Darlene. Thank you for stopping by and leaving a comment. I am hoping the contract arrives this week so I can actually see what it entails.

  8. Jan, thanks for the reading, I always enjoy these. Wow – a video game!! Like you, I didn’t know they did these things. How wonderful for you! I bet your grandkids will be beyond impressed. Have a great week!

    1. The things we learn, Maura Beth. πŸ™‚ Yes, my grandkids were excited that their ancient grandmother was going to have a book that’s also a video game. πŸ™‚ I’m super thrilled, but still waiting on the contract. Maybe it will come this week! Thanks for stopping by!

    1. Thank you, for stopping by, Harmony. Like I said, I’m not making too much noise about the video game development until I have a contract in hand. πŸ™‚ Have a great week!

    1. Thank you, Jill. It is exciting, but I’m not saying too much until I have a contract in hand. Still waiting on that. πŸ™‚ Have a great week!

    1. Thank you, Annette. Of course, I haven’t seen a contract yet, so not making too much noise about it. πŸ™‚ Thanks for stopping by! Happy Monday!
