Welcome to the start of another week AND a new month! It’s my birthday month and I am going to be celebrating all month long! I love this motivational quote.
And this meditation bolsters that quote. The message I received from the meditation is that my purpose for living is to learn and to share. I can’t think of anything that brings me more joy. I’d love to hear from you if you do the meditation. Let’s talk about it!
The tarot reading this week is such a positive and uplifting message.
The first thing that comes to mind when I see the Queen of Swords is action and clarity of thinking. She combines the mental clarity and intellectual power of the suit of Swords with the maturity and receptiveness of the Queen. She also represents clear communication. You are open to hearing the thoughts and opinions of others, but ultimately, you filter that information to decipher what is true and what is not. The Queen of Swords invites you to be upfront and honest in your views, and you expect the same from others. The Justice card is all about the truth of the matter in a fair and unbiased way. It also holds you accountable for your actions. You need to ask yourself, “Do I stand by my decisions and accept the consequences of my actions?” Then to bring it all to that “happy ending” we love so much, the Knight of Cups rides in on his white horse carrying with him creativity, romance, passion, and beauty.
So, my overall take on this reading is to be completely clear with your thinking and communication while seeking the truth and being accountable for your words and actions. Then, be open to the creativity that opens up and be a conduit for your passion!
I don’t know what your take on this reading might be, but I relate it to the world situation with the COVID vaccine and so many different sides of that fence. I think that for each of us, we have to be clear in our thoughts and communication about it, then stand firm in a fair and unbiased way. The result will be positivity and passion, bypassing ALL negativity. Your thoughts?
**Also a side note – Each year on New Year’s Eve I randomly pull twelve Tarot cards – one for each month of the year. My August card is ironically the Queen of Swords.**
As a bonus this week, I am sharing an oracle card from my newest deck, The Dragon Oracle Cards, that I am absolutely loving!
I purchased this deck of cards this past April and have enjoyed them so much. So, as part of my birthday month celebration, I will share with you each week an oracle card from the collection. Here is this week’s card. The message is self-explanatory. I’d have to say it is a great companion to our meditation and tarot reading.
Love the new Oracle cards. I have a few sets I use myself. I haven’t touched them for a long time. I may be inspired! Happy Birthday! <3
Maybe this is a little nudge to unpack them and start using the oracle cards again. Thank you, Debby, for stopping by and for the birthday month wish!
You are so right Jan. I didn’t want to look at them for so long. Only recently I’m feeling the pull. I think today may be a good day to pull out a deck or two <3
What fun to celebrate your birthday all month, Jan. Mine is in February which is also our wedding anniversary month, and my son, Greg’s, birthday month. His is two days after mine so he always gets all the focus. A most interesting card and interpretation. I had my first Phizer jab on Sunday, 1 August. A relief to have that process started.
Oh wonderful, Robbie. I pray that you have no side effects from the vaccine. It is fun to celebrate all month (at least within my budget.) Thank you for stopping by and glad you enjoyed the post!
Happy Birthday (month) Jan! I listen to an Honest Guys meditation every morning at 6 while doing my energy medicine taps. (Does that sound whoo whoo?) It’s such a great way to start the morning. I look forward to listening to this HG’s “Find Your Life’s Purpose” you share with us here. Thank you. I like the message of staying grounded, by the way. I often like to float away, but my guy keeps me on Earth. 🙂
That is definitely a wonderful way to begin your mornings, Pamela! I hope you enjoy this meditation as well. Another go-to for me is Jason Stephenson and I’ll be sharing some of his guided meditations here. I try to keep them short and sweet. Thank you so much for stopping by and here’s to staying grounded while floating. 🙂 Hugs!
Happy birthday month, Jan 🙂 What a great reading and I love those dragon cards! Peaceful meditation although I didn’t come away with a life theme. I kept wanting to sit in that chair long before we were supposed to. My mind had other ideas. Great post that offered so much hope.
Such a beautiful experience, Denise. So often in meditations where they suggest that I see a book or that I fetch something from the well, I feel like my mind takes over and imagines what it wants. This time was a little different and I loved the message I got. I agree. I wanted to sit in the chair long before he told me to. 🙂 Thanks so much for stopping by and leaving a comment!
Happy birthday month, Jan! I love the quote.
Thank you so much, Joan!
I love your thoughts on the reading. It all makes so much sense. It also fits my situation so well, due to a new herbal medication I started to calm my mind, differ, and see clearer again. That makes me more bearable and as a result to take more responsibility again (at work) which brings so much joy and contentment back. That again, makes me enjoy life much more, makes me love more what I do, and I can imagine that romance enters the field again too.
How exciting, Erika! Sometimes it’s just a small tweak here or there that can make a huge difference in our lives. What is the new herbal remedy, if I may ask? Joy and contentment are precious commodities and I’m glad you’ve found that! Best wishes!! Hugs!
Of course, Jan. It is called bioidentic hormones. It is drawn from the Yams root. The dose and individual adjustment depends on the blood results. Its structure is 100% identical (not similar like synthetic hormones) with our hormons which is why it connects with the receptors in our body. That’s the reason why there is no risk of developing cancer or other negative side-effects like synthetic hormones. I am taking it for about a week now and do recognize changes for example, my blood pressure has already dropped to a lower level. It is supposed to better hairloss, moodiness, panic attacks, sweating, … It can take up to 6 months until it is perfectly adjusted.
That is great, Erika! I am a big believer in homeopathic medicine and especially if it actually works! Kudos to you for trying it!
This type of hormone replacement has been around for many years, but may only be used by medical professionals, as far as I know. Since a friend started using it too a few months ago and is full of praises, I gave it a go… hehe.
Super reading, Jan. Lots of positivity. I hope you have a great birthday month. 70 is such a cool age.
Thanks, John! I feel pretty good about being 70. 🙂 I’m glad you enjoyed the post today!
😊
Happy birthday month, Jan! The Oracle cards are gorgeous, and I positively love the quote. It’s one that really resonates with me, and one I need to remember for the future!
Thanks for the birthday month wish, Mae! I agree that the oracle cards are gorgeous. I will be sharing more from that deck throughout the month. I’m so glad you enjoyed the post. Happy Monday!
Great reading and post today, Jan! The reading speaks personally to me this morning, so I’m happy I read it before I start my day. I’ll listen to the meditation a bit later since I’ve already done a tapping and a meditation. I love the dragon oracle card! Not only is it beautiful, but the message is perfect. I hope you enjoy celebrating your birthday this month. You deserve a month-long celebration. 😉
Thank you for leaving a comment, Yvette. I am so happy the reading resonated with you! I am really enjoying the dragon oracle cards and the messages are always uplifting and empowering. Thanks for the birthday month wishes and have a great Monday!
Happy Birthday month, Jan. I love this post and the excitement of an upcoming birthday. ✨🎈✨
It’s a big one this year, Gwen. I will turn 70 on the 21st. So I think I will just celebrate that milestone all month long! Thank you for stopping by! Hugs!
Happy birthday month. And what a wonderful quote to get us started.
Thanks for the birthday month wishes, Staci! I love the quote, too!
That is a great quote. Happy birthday month, Jan!
I agree, Jill! Thank you for stopping by!
Intriguing that the Queen of Swords turned up for August at the new year and is visiting now. Great reading, Jan. Have a wonderful birthday month! 💕🙂
