#MondayMotivation – #Meditation – #TarotReading – #DragonOracleCard

Happy Monday, everyone. I am thrilled to report that I am about 98% recovered from my tangle with COVID, thank goodness!! I appreciate all the well-wishes, prayers, and positive vibes you sent my way. I loved this quote from William Faulkner. It made me pause and think for a minute.

A beautiful meditation to help jumpstart the day!

The Tarot reading for this week is hopeful and solid.

The keywords for The Sun from the Major Arcana are: Positivity, fun, warmth, success, and vitality. You don’t know what a welcome sight this card is! If you are going through a difficult time (I certainly have been), The Sun brings you the message you have been waiting for: that things will get better, a lot better! Hallelujah! The Sun connects you to your power base – not fear-driven, egotistical power, but the abundant, inner energy radiating through you right now. You’ll sense it in your Solar Plexus chakra, calling you to express yourself authentically and be fully present in the world around you.

The King of Cups represents a balance of emotions, creativity, and the unconscious. When this card turns up in a Tarot reading, you have gained control of your feelings and can accept them without allowing them to get the better of you. Even when life throws you a curveball, you can draw on your emotional maturity and stability to help you navigate these challenges. You don’t let things get to you, and you steer clear of the drama, instead choosing an emotionally balanced and calm approach.

The Nine of Pentacles speaks of financial independence. The woman in this card has created a luxurious lifestyle by her own actions and efforts. She encourages you to do the same – to create abundance and independence so that you can take care of yourself in the long term. Invest wisely and seek financial advice to make the most of your wealth. Don’t rely on others to support you; this Nine is an independent woman. While the suit of Pentacles typically focuses on material wealth and gain, this card also suggests that you are in harmony with the environment around you. You appreciate the beauty and abundance found in nature, and you can harness this high-vibe energy to bring pleasure into your life.

My Takeaway:

What a welcome sight, these cards are. From the sun shining and bringing new vitality and creativity, to the emotionally balanced King of Cups and the secure and independent woman, this is a super positive reading and it reflects what I feel inside. I do not mean to downplay COVID. It’s a horrible nasty virus and it knocked me down hard. But, as the old saying goes, “it’s not how many times you get knocked down, it’s how you choose to get back up.”

I’d love to hear your thoughts on these cards today and hope they bring a ray of sunshine to your week!

There is nothing I can say about this Dragon Card, except that it is gorgeous!

  1. An excellent reading, Jan, and I am glad you are recovering from Covid. It is, indeed, nasty. I need the King of Cups in my reading every week. I am always to emotional and a little prone to meltdowns when I get overwhelmed. I have not help again at work and its not the best way to negotiate the busiest period of the year. Anyhow, as you say, onwards and upwards.

    1. Hang in there, Robbie. I hope there is a light at the end of the tunnel for you at work. I know how stressful it can be to have more work than you can possibly do. Thank you for taking the time to stop by and take a look at this post! Hugs!

  2. So happy you are feeling better, Jan! That Sun card could have brought some warmth today. It was in the 40s this morning. My toes are frozen. LOL! (For those that don’t know me, I live in South Florida – we don’t do cold. :-P) It’s a wonderful reading all around, and that dragon is just beautiful. Aquamarine is my birthstone, so I’m a little bias. 😉

    1. Your comment made me chuckle, Yvette. No, Floridians don’t do cold and 40 is cold! Hope the sun shines again soon. I’m glad you enjoyed the reading and I agree about the dragon. It is a beautiful card. And it’s okay to be biased! Thank you for stopping by and leaving a comment! Hugs!

  3. I’m glad you’re on the mend, Jan. Your positive nature probably played a big part in your recovery {{hugs}}
The sun is shining, and buds are bursting on the trees. Spring is just around the corner, bringing happiness and wealth (gardening) to many- a good time to be alive 🙂

    1. I am so happy to be feeling better, Jacquie! And you are right. Even though it’s the dead of winter, spring is just around the corner. I know how much you love your flowers and gardening. It will get here. Yes! A great time to be alive. Thank you for stopping by!

A wonderful way to start the week, Jan! I loved the meditation and reading. Just what I needed to hear. So happy you are doing better and yes, I do believe everything makes us stronger. I smiled at the dragon card and seeing the ocean represented and a story that begs to be written.

    1. It’s funny, but I thought of you when I drew that Dragon card, Denise. 🙂 I’m glad you enjoyed the meditation and reading. And yes! I am definitely happy to be feeling better! Thank you for stopping by and leaving a comment!

  6. Jan, this reading is… I am speechless… This week (tomorrow or Wednesday), I have a difficult talk to do with my business partner. I want to quit my job which will be a catastrophe for him. That is actually why I suppressed doing it already months of years ago. Working together is working perfectly but the job itself is a horror to me. It dims the fire in me more and more, I have become fearful and developed sleep disorders. However, I will make that step now. I will also make it because my self-employment is going up. I have so many ideas and some developments will definitely need more of my presence. I don’t want to keep myself from doing what I love with doing things that take me down. Now, look at that reading. Wouldn’t you say that this is more than confirming that I am doing the right thing?

    1. Of course, no one can tell you what to do, Erika. You only can listen to your inner voice, your guides, and your teachers. Only you know what is right for you. I know having peace of mind in this troubled world is super important and it’s up to us to release what does not serve our higher good. When you say you’ve developed sleep disorders, that tells me you are out of sync. Doing what you love will bring rewards. I wish you the very best with whatever you decide and support you 100%! Hugs!

      1. My decision is clear. And seeing readings like yours today, only confirms that. It is amazing, how many confirmations I received lately. So, thank you so much for sharing your readings. It is such a blessing and encouragement!

  8. Great quote from Faulkner, Jan. I hadn’t heard that one before. And what a positive spread. Life is a rollercoaster and it’s great to have these highs between the lows. I’m glad you’re feeling better, Jan. We’ve avoided covid so far, but really do wonder if it’s just a matter of time with this new one. Enjoy the sunshine!

    1. You reflect what many are feeling about this new strain of the virus, Diana. I pray that it misses you completely! It is not fun. And you are right.
