I hope everyone has a fabulous week! I am away with my family, taking a much-needed break.
However, I have some things to share.
That is so true.
I often compare writing a book with the work that goes into preparing a holiday meal. You spend hours baking a turkey to the ultimate perfection, creating golden-crusted pies, cakes, and whatever else your family loves. Then in just minutes, the meal is devoured and gone. An author can spend months, and sometimes years writing a book that can be read in a matter of hours. So, if you read a book and enjoy it, the greatest gift you can give the author comes in the form of a review.
And, I also wanted to pull just one Tarot card for the week.
This is not a feel-good card, but it’s an honest one.
I feel that this card is a reflection of the world situation. It is indicative of worry and loss (real or perceived). It is a reminder to be grateful for what we have and do what we can to help others.
Worry doesn’t solve any situation. Clear thought followed by action solves situations. If only the world leaders had that ability.
I join you in prayer for those suffering and in need.
As you go through the week, lift up anyone you can with love and compassion. There can never be too much love.
I hope everyone has a great week and I’ll be back in the saddle on Friday with a new Story Empire post! See you then!
