Motivation Monday – #Meditation – #TarotReading – #UnicornOracleCard

Happy Monday! I am so super excited for the week ahead. My book releases tomorrow!

I love this quote so much. It’s true. While it would be nice if someone else would row our canoe, it’s all up to us.

This is a short ten-minute meditation to bring about positive feelings and optimism into your day.

Lots of emotions floating around in this week’s tarot reading.

The Four of Cups says, “Looking at your past will not show you your future. Opportunities are everywhere if you shift your gaze to see them.” It can be challenging to shift your perspective and get excited for something new when you’ve been hurt or disappointed in the past. Like emotions, water needs to flow freely, and in this card, emotional energy is stagnant. In an effort to protect yourself from experiencing pain, you’ve begun to restrict yourself from feeling anything, which leads to apathy. (I’ll have more to say on this in my takeaway.)

The King of Cups can represent a person who embodies the qualities of empathy, compassion and emotional intelligence and takes action to uphold their boundaries while being mindful of those around them. That person may be you. This card can also represent the energy of a situation that requires the setting of boundaries and the expression of compassion.

The options presented in the Seven of Cups represent dreams that have not yet materialized. Before a desire can come into form, it exists as energetic potential, as you see in the cups in this card. Which cup do you want to focus on? So many choices. If you meditate and look within, your intuition will lead you toward what is most resonant as you consider all possibilities.

This Unicorn card spoke directly to my heart!

New Opportunities
Declutter your life.
Glimpse a magical doorway.

  1. Hi Jan, no chance of me not feeling, it impossible. I sometimes try hard to repress emotions but it doesn’t work. I have to express iThings even when I feel I shouldn’t. Actually, it generally works out after others have absorbed my words.

  2. Me again. I thought I’d let you know there are no share buttons other than the ones on the right side that take us to your page only. 🙂

  3. Congrats on the new release Jan. And what you said about ‘not feeling’ really hit home with me too. Hugs xx

  4. One word resonated with me, Jan: Declutter! I started this at the beginning of the year and continue to work on this aspect of my life. Enjoy your week, my friend. And a huge congratulations for your new release tomorrow. I’ll help you spread the great news! xo

    1. Thank you so much, Mary. Declutter really resonated with me as well. I have clothes in my closet I haven’t worn in 20 years. I think it’s time for them to go! I appreciate you stopping by and thank you in advance for sharing A Beggar’s Bargain!

    1. Thank you, Teri! Yes, I do believe they were speaking directly tome. I appreciate you taking the time to stop by and leave a comment!
