Happy Monday! I’ve given a lot of thought about I want my Monday posts to look like going forward, and while I have loved doing the Tarot readings, I am being led in a different direction. We all need a little me-time now and then. So, in thinking about that, I want to give you a few minutes of ‘you-time’ to start the week.
So, sit back and enjoy. Take ten minutes to focus and connect with yourself and watch your day get better.
How often have you heard the phrase, “Every cloud has a silver lining?” But does it really? Does every story have a happy ending? No, not always. But one thing I know for sure is that wherever there is a cloud, a light source is hidden behind it. Just because we can’t see it, doesn’t mean it’s not there. And that is true of many things in life. We can’t always see behind the scenes of what is happening to us and around us, but with patience and a bit of faith, it eventually gets clear.
The main focus of this post today is to encourage you to pause, take some deep cleansing breaths, and center yourself. What can it hurt? Absolutely nothing.
Have you ever heard of Theta Waves? Here’s what Study.com says about it: “Theta waves are highly beneficial. They are connected to creativity, intuition, and learning. Scientists believe that these waves are essential for information processing and memory storage. They are also directly linked to manifesting abundance in your life. Theta waves are strongly detected during states of deep, relaxed, internal focus such as meditation, prayer, and daydreaming. During these states, an individual may describe the feeling of being on autopilot. Theta waves are often detected in awake children (ages 0-13) but are uncommon in awake adults.”
Below is a seven minute brain boost video of Theta Waves. This is best listened to through headphones of some type. I’ll be talking more about sound waves and vibrations in future posts, but for today, I’m focusing on Theta. By activating the tiny pineal gland in our brains, we can experience miracles.
Try listening every day this week and see what happens. And always remember “Energy flows where attention goes.” If you don’t like what’s going on or how you’re feeling, try shifting your thoughts. Let me know how it goes. I will be participating with you.
Here is an affirmation I have pinned to my wall above my computer. It is a Universal truth.
EXPECT your every need to be met
EXPECT the answer to every problem
EXPECT abundance on every level
EXPECT to grow spiritually
EXPECT good things to happen
You ATTRACT what you EXPECT!
I’ll leave you with this beautiful message from my Archangel Oracle Card Deck.
Have a great week!
HI Jan, this is a lovely idea. I hope you are having a great week.
Thank you, Robbie. Yes, I am!
I swear I could feel my head tingling when I listened – like my brain was repairing itself, lol! Thanks for the education about theta waves, Jan – looking forward to this new feature.
I had somewhat of the same feeling, Teri. I’m listening every day this week. I figure what can it hurt? I’m excited about sharing more about sound waves and vibrations and how they can affect us. Thanks for stopping by!
I listen to something similar called Bilateral Stimulation, Jan. The unique vibrating tunes/melodies going in and out of each ear seem to have a calming and invigorating effect. What a positive, uplifting post for the start of my week. Thank you! xoxo
I am familiar with Bilateral Stimulation and going forward with these posts, I’m going to be presenting different sound vibrations and how they can affect us on every level. I’m thrilled that you stopped by and enjoyed the post, Have a great week ahead!
Good advice. I’m one of those who subscribes to every story has a happy ending–depending upon the definition of the word ‘happy’!
And Study.com–they have a lot of good videos on that site.
I completely agree, Jacqui. Happy is such an ambiguous word and can mean something different to every person. It also comes and goes. Thanks for stopping by. Have a great week ahead!
I enjoyed reading about Theta waves, Jan. I’d like to try this! 🌺🩷
Fantastic, Kymber. I hope you do and that it brings positive changes! Thanks for stopping by!
Very inspiring, Jan. I’m going to try your suggestions and listen to the music. The concept of Theta Waves sounds fascinating. Here’s hoping! Have a great week!❤️
Wonderful, Joy. I hope by the end of the week, you see a change. Me too! Thank you for stopping by!
This is interesting. With the work week, I doubt I can keep it up.
That’s okay, Craig. I appreciate you stopping by and hope the week turns to be better than you think.
