It’s TAROT TUESDAY again and the card I pulled today is one that gets me excited!
The card I pulled today is from the Major Arcana. A Tarot deck consists of 78 cards – 22 Major Arcana and 56 Minor Arcana.
Let me provide a brief explanation about the two.
The Major Arcana Tarot cards represent the life lessons, karmic influences and the big archetypal themes that are influencing your life and your soul’s journey to enlightenment.
Minor Arcana cards tell us about the day-to-day goings-on in our lives and the issues and challenges we face along our journey. Within the Minor Arcana are Swords, Cups, Wands and Pentacles.
So, on to our card today – WHEEL OF FORTUNE!
As you might guess from its name, this card represents good luck, karma, life cycles, destiny, or a turning point.
The Wheel of Fortune reminds you that the wheel is always turning and life is in a state of constant change. If you’re going through a difficult time (from the card we had last week, that may surely be the case) rest assured that it will get better from here. Good luck and good fortune will make their return in time. Similarly, if things are going well, know this, too, will change and life may return to ‘normal’ soon. This cycle shows why it is so important to cherish the blissful moments in your life and make the most of them while they are within reach – because in a flash they could be gone.
The Wheel of Fortune is also known as the wheel of karma and reminds you that ‘what goes around comes around.’ Be a kind and loving person to others, and they’ll be kind and loving to you. Be nasty and mean, and you will get nasty and mean turning back your way. So, if you want happiness and abundance, make sure you’re sending out that positive juju in kind. What you send out into the Universe will come back your way.
The Wheel of Fortune card asks you to be optimistic and have faith that the Universe will take care of your situation in the best way possible.
What a beautiful card!
Finally, the Wheel of Fortune can show a critical turning point in your life. Opportunities you could never imagine are suddenly available to you, and you have the chance to make a significant change in your life. While it may be unexpected and unfamiliar, see this as an invitation to turn things around and take an entirely new direction in your life. The more you tune in to your intuition and allow the Universe to guide you, the better the outcomes will be.
Thank you for joining me again today for another TAROT TUESDAY! See you next week!
Reblogged this on LIVING THE DREAM.
Lol! Always, Teagan!! Thanks for stopping by!
I hope you had a terrific Tuesday, Jan — and that the Wheel brought you good things. Hugs!
Hi, Jan! This is fascinating! I didn’t know anything about Tarot, so I’ve learned a few new things today. Thank you! <3
Awesome, Vashti! You can read the previous posts by scrolling down. This is the third in the series. Thank you so much for stopping by!! I do hope you’ll join me again next Tuesday for another card!
I’ll check out the other posts, Jan. What a fascinating series. 😀 xo
Hallelujah! I love this card too and I think it’s working. I had a big spurt of inspiration and energy. I feel renewed and out from under some kind of heaviness for which I’m very thankful. Praying it continues as I strive to be kinder to myself.
Wonderful, sister!!! I am so glad you had a spurt of inspiration AND energy!! It’s so hard to press forward when we feel heaviness and can’t shake it. Thank you for stopping by and leaving such a wonderful comment!! I love you!
That’s optimistic. A have faith that it’ll all work out card. (I should carry one of those in my wallet.)
Still didn’t get the WP notification. Sigh. At least I remembered to pop in on my own!
How bizarre, Staci. WP is a fickle mistress for sure. I’m so glad you stopped by and glad you got something positive out of the post!! Have a GREAT day! Hugs!
I love the part of your interpretation “what goes around, comes around”. That is really a wonderful way to explain an aspect of the meaning. Never thought of that: I love it!
Thank you, Erika! I am thrilled that you stopped by and enjoyed today’s post!! Hugs!
I love it, Jan! I used to lay the cards for my clients and for myself but then life came into the way and it is long ago that I did. That way I enjoy your series a lot!
Wonderful, Erika! Maybe this series will inspire you to do more readings. 🙂
It reminds me of how much the cards are able to tell us. It always amazed me. I hope I can reduce my time at work soon and then I may have more time dedicating it to card reading too.
A very interesting post, Jan. I am suddenly faced with making a significant change in my writing life (I hope to get a blog post up sometime this week), and have always been a firm believer that things happen for a reason. I strongly believe in fate, destiny, and that God directs my life. Sometimes the path gets bumpy, but climbing unexpected hills lead to pleasant valleys! 🙂
Change can be scary, Mae, but if we don’t ever stop out of our comfort zones, we don’t grow. I can’t wait to see what is new for you! I just know it will be divinely directed and inspired!! Extra shock absorbers help to get us over the bumpy parts. 🙂 Thank you for stopping by! Mega hugs!
Super positive post, Jan. I am a firm believer in what goes around comes around and this card pull was great. It is a reminder to treat others as you would like to be treated. Thanks.
So true, John! That Golden Rule applies to so many aspects of life. Thanks so much for stopping by and leaving a comment!
Always a pleasure, Jan
I like this card, Jan. What a great reminder to trust life, yourself, and not give up when things are bad. Also, to appreciate all the good times a little bit more. Let your heart guide you. All the things we need to have a full life that is full of change. I’m really enjoying Tarot Tuesday, Jan:)
Awesome, Denise! I am thrilled that you are enjoying the series. I am enjoying it as well. You said it so well, “let your heart guide you.” That is advice that can never steer you wrong! Hugs!
Yes, if we just listen to it! Hugs back!
I loved today’s card and thanks for that additional info about the The Major Arcana and theThe Minor Arcana.
Karma is an inspiring theory, as it helps us embellish our personalities and behavior. Thank you Jan, for the reminder through this Tarot card.
Thank you, Balroop, for stopping by and leaving a comment. I’m glad my explanation about the Major and Minor Arcanas was helpful. You are so right about Karma as an inspiring theory. I appreciate you following this series!

Thank you, Annette, for the Reblog!!!
This particular one stuck with me as I wrote Yak Guy. It kind of symbolizes the need to proceed without all possible information. Thus, taking that chance. I hid it in the story pretty well, but it has the wheel shape and everything.
Once again, I’m reminded that I need to read the Yak Guy book. 🙂 I agree that this card symbolizes the need to proceed without all possible information. But, isn’t that true of every day of life? Thanks so much for stopping by and leaving a comment. I’m glad you are enjoying this series!
I’m sorry. It wasn’t my intent to promote here. It was just my experience. I am loving this series.
Craig, you are welcome to promote your stories ANYTIME on my blog!!!

I love Tarot Tuesday, I learn so much! Your explanation is very thorough and inspirational. “The more you tune in to your intuition and allow the Universe to guide you, the better the outcomes will be.” We all need to pause and listen more. Thank you, Jan, for this reminder and the overall lesson. Beautiful!. ♥
Thank you for following this series, Gwen! I am really enjoying sharing and I am learning right along with everyone else. You are so right in that we all need to pause and listen to that inner voice more! Hugs!
