#TarotTuesday – Ten of Cups

Welcome to another Tarot Tuesday!

If you are just joining me, let me explain the inspiration to begin these posts. In Texas, and all across the country, Taco Tuesday is a popular day when Tacos are usually 99 cents. So, I had the inspiration, or Angel nudge as I like to think of it, to create a Tarot Tuesday. Each Tuesday I will post a different Tarot card and give its meaning. I pray and ask for the right card that will bring a universal message.

I decided to create a short video to show you how I shuffle the Tarot cards to choose one for these #TarotTuesdays. If you are curious, it’s only a little over one minute long.

Today the card I pulled is the Ten of Cups!

The Suit of Cups Tarot cards deal with the emotional level of consciousness and are associated with love, feelings, relationships and connections.

This is such a happy card! The keywords are: Divine love, blissful relationships, harmony and alignment. All good stuff!!

The Ten of Cups embodies emotional contentment, particularly in your relationships and family. You have created an abundance of love and happiness in your life, and you now share this love with others, expanding your heart even more. This card often appears when you are surrounded by your loved ones with whom you share a powerful and deep connection. You appreciate and support one another, and together, you help each other reach your highest potential. It brings you so much joy to see your loved ones succeed and live happy lives.

The Ten of Cups is the ‘happy family’ card, suggesting that your family relationships are harmonious and loving right now. No one is fighting or causing any tension; all family members are getting along with each other and sharing in the love that surrounds you. This card may appear in a reading when you are spending more time with family, perhaps on a holiday, reunion or event, where you can rest and relax together, creating fun and happy family memories and strong bonds.

The Ten of Cups is a positive card for romantic relationships and may indicate either a new and blissful relationship or a long-term commitment, such as engagement, marriage or starting a family together.

The Ten of Cups encourages you to follow your heart and trust your intuition to lead you to the opportunities aligned with your Highest Good. Your feelings and emotions will guide you. When something feels fantastic, do more of it; and when something doesn’t feel right, do less of it.

This card could not have been more appropriate for me as I have just returned from a family trip to Arkansas with my two daughters, all the grandkids and the granddogs. We had a great time and it was as the card said, harmonious with everyone getting along, even the three dogs. 🙂 What about you? Can you relate to this card within your own family? I want to hear about it!

Thank you for joining me! See you next Tuesday for another inspiring message from the Universe via the Tarot Cards!

As always, I use the Rider-Waite Radiance deck and BiddyTarot.com for interpretations.

  1. I looooove this one, Jan, and I’m feeling it, too! Amen. 🙂
So wonderful to hear your voice in the video. This is the first time I’ve seen it done. Cool stuff!
Cheers to family and the love that surrounds us. Delighted to know you enjoyed a lovely vacation! xo

  2. Those tens have such solid stable foundations. A happy one indeed, Jan, and it sounds like the glow of spending time with your family is still with you. 🙂

  3. This card reminds me yet again just how blessed I am to live with my amazing daughter, and seven year-old-grandson. I’m surrounded by wall-to-wall love, and I find reasons to smile every day. Last night I watched on as my grandson asked his mother what Halloween had been like for her when she was a child. I laughed as she shared the things she remembered so vividly. I’ll watch on with joy as she helps my grandson make his own sweet memories. How lucky I am..

    1. Lucky indeed, my friend! Family can be such a blessing and I am happy that you are surrounded by such wonderful love. You certainly deserve it! Halloween will be fun for the young man and you’ll enjoy it with him! Thanks so much for stopping by! Hugs!

Well, I am going on a trip with my youngest daughter tomorrow to a Supernatural Conference and Disneyland. So that part of it makes sense. I keep picking cards that show I need to follow my heart and embrace my emotions. while my husband gets a share theme. It’s funny how the same message will keep popping up over and over in different ways. I do hope this means our family will be blessed with some healing.

    1. Oh, Dennise, I do hope so too! A trip with your daughter to the conference and Disneyland sounds amazing!! I can’t wait to hear of your adventures. I think we ALL need to follow our hearts and embrace our emotions. If we follow our truest heart, we can never go wrong. Thank you for stopping by and leaving a comment! Have fun on your trip!

  5. Wonderful, Jan. We are traveling and visiting family. The card speaks to my heart and all that is happening right now. Thank you for the inspiration, my friend. ♥

  6. I just got home from a trip to Arkansas and it was full of good things and I met some great people so this card is appropriate to me as well. 🙂

  7. Thanks for this very happy card, Jan. It was fun to have the video. I really need to get back into my tarot cards. I gave away half my collection when I moved. I couldn’t take much with me. (I actually gave away 4/5th of everything I owned, not because I wanted to.) Anyhow, I still have my favorites, and I need to get back to them. Thanks for inspiring me. Hugs on the wing.

    1. Thanks, Mae. I thought everyone might like to see how to choose the card for the post, or how the card chooses me. 🙂 You are right. Harmony and family are SO important!! Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment! Hugs!

    1. Awesome, Craig! You are right. We don’t take time away from our crazy busy lives enough to enjoy the families we are a part of. Thanks for stopping by!

  8. We are preparing for my mom’s 80th birthday party so I’m hoping this card is letting me know what a success it will be. We are trying to get as many family, friends and former students to attend as possible. My Mom is the social butterfly involved in all things Stephenville, Texas so I’m hoping she will have many people attend and share in her special day! I really knew very little about tarot cards before you started this. Thanks for sharing.

    1. Oh how wonderful, Stephanie!! I am sure the party will be a smashing success! At least the card predicts happy and harmonious family times! Thank you for following along and for leaving comments! Hugs!

  10. Dear Jan- This is the perfect card for me right now. How do you always seem to pull one that goes along with my life?
A few weeks ago I spent a weekend with my mom and dad in Oklahoma, it was one of our best EVER trips. Lately we’ve been spending a lot of time with my sister in law & brother in law, (Rob’s sister) and we have all been having the time of our life. This weekend is Rob’s birthday and we are all going on a small trip to Kansas Star Casino for his birthday. We are so excited. We always laugh and joke and have the best time together. So this card just fuels my excitement for the weekend ahead.
I am so glad you had such an enjoyable time In Arkansas with your daughters and their families! May you have a blessed week. Love you!

    1. Lol, Tonya! I love the way Spirit seems to know exactly what we need and when! Your family times sound amazing and the upcoming trip sounds like a great time to relax and enjoy loved ones!! Thank you for following along and leaving such awesome comments!!! Love you!!
