Welcome to another Tarot Tuesday!
If you are just joining me, let me explain the inspiration to begin these posts. In Texas, and all across the country, Taco Tuesday is a popular day when Tacos are usually 99 cents. So, I had the inspiration, or Angel nudge as I like to think of it, to create a Tarot Tuesday. Each Tuesday I will post a different Tarot card and give its meaning. I pray and ask for the right card that will bring a universal message.
I created a short video to demonstrate how I pull the card for the posts. If youāre interested, hereās a LINK.
Today, the Universe brings to us the Knight of Wands!
The keywords that accompany this card are: Energy, passion, inspired action, adventure, or impulsiveness.
There are a couple of things worth pointing out about this card. The Knight sits on his horse in full armor, wearing a yellow robe decorated with salamanders (associated with the element of fire), and a helmet with fiery red plumes flowing behind him. He holds a sprouting wand in his right hand, which symbolizes his energy and enthusiasm for his mission. His horse rises up on its hind legs, poised and ready for action.Ā
That pretty much sets the tone.
When this card appears in a Tarot reading, you are charged up with energy, passion, motivation, and enthusiasm, and you channel that energy through your inspired action. You have a clear vision about what you want to create and, fueled by your passion and inspiration, you are now moving forward with leaps and bounds to turn your vision into reality. This card is your sign to go for it!
The Knight of Wands gives you the feeling you can take on the world! You are so committed to your vision and purpose that you will stop at nothing to bring it to life. As you pursue your goals, your confidence skyrockets, and you realize that your potential is limitless. You can do anything!
Be mindful that the Knight of Wands can express himself as an āact first, think laterā type of person. In your pursuit of action, you may be impulsive and impatient, expecting everything to be done yesterday. While you are bursting with energy, you have a tendency to rush into things with little consideration for the consequences of your actions. You may not have a clear plan of attack, hurting your chances of long-term success. If this resonates, find a way to focus your enthusiasm on the activities that will move you closer to your goal. When you have a new idea, rather than acting on it straight away, take a moment to check in and see if it truly aligns with your goals and whether it needs to happen right now. You may realize that you are better served by waiting for a more opportune time to pursue this idea. Or, you may realize that the time is now, and you can charge ahead with high energy and vibrancy.
Only each of us knows how this card resonates and what it indicates. To me, it is encouragement to keep forging ahead with my WIP. Even though I’ve given up on the 50,000 word count goal for NaNoWriMo, I’m still going and will make 30,000. And, I’m okay with that. Any writing is good progress! So, tell me. How does this positive energetic card speak to you in your life?
Thank you for joining me! See you next Tuesday for another inspiring message from the Universe via the Tarot Cards!
As always, I use the Rider-Waite Radiance deck and BiddyTarot.com for interpretations.
Good card, Jan! I would have to say it reasonates with me in both ways. I do tend to jump right in and just go at times like with NaNo. Congrats on doing that Jan its tough to commit to any time of the year. I’m glad I did it, too:) Not sure if I will again, will see. I also like moving forward with what I’m doing and focusing on my goal. All good news. Happy Thanksgiving xo
You conquered NaNo, Denise! Congrats!! I am very happy with what I’ve done with the story and will keep moving forward to “The End.” Thank you SO much for stopping in and I wish you and your family a fabulous Thanksgiving!
I think this card was designed for me. I am like this most of the time.
Wonderful, Robbie! I love that you possess this kind of beautiful energy! Thank you so much for stopping by!
I could use some of his energy today. It’s early and I need some coffee. Then maybe I’ll conquer those pyramids in the background.
Absolutely, Craig. With coffee, all things are possible! š Thanks for stopping by!
Reblogged this on Campbells World and commented:
As I sat reading the description of this card, I became so enthralled with the the thought of fire and what energies it could hold, that my focus caused the sun which was already shining warm and bright through my window to seem for a moment white hot. It seemed to me that it would explode right through, and consume me within its flame.
That readers is focus, and that is the kind of focus I’ve got going on with my writing.
It surprises me not that this is the card for this week.
Thanks Jan for sharing your Tarot Talent with us.
What a wonderful confirmation, Patty!! I love that description of the sun and how it consumed you in that moment! Thank you SO much for reblogging!

Wow!! Love this card. This is how Iām feeling right now. Energized, ready to face the world, head on. I do have something Iām wanting to express at work but have been apprehensive and now that I read all of this, maybe I do need to set back and wait… see how all this transpired.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family, Jan. Love you dearly and be safe if you travel.
Wonderful, Tonya! I am always thrilled when a card resonates with someone, and it always does!! Yes. Sit back and wait. A very wise woman once told me that when in doubt, be still. I’ve never forgotten that. Happy Thanksgiving to you and Rob! Love you!
