Friday Free-For-All! #Coffee #Thanksgiving

Happy Friday! Wow, the days sure fly by. I have something fun to discuss today, so grab a cup and settle in.

Coffee—the morning elixir. But are all coffees created equal? I’m on a quest to find the perfect winter coffee. During the summer, I discovered the very best iced coffee I’d ever had with Peet’s Dark Roast and Califia Iced Mixers creamer. But now, returning to hot coffee, I’m unhappy with the Peet’s dark or medium roast. So, I’m hoping you’ll help me out.

I used to drink Trader Joe’s coffee, but then, after switching to Peet’s, it was too weak. However, I recently tried a box of their Colombian blend, which was pretty good, but not the perfection I’m looking for.

Let me preface this next one by saying I am not a fan of Starbucks coffee, but I thought I’d give this one a try. It is okay, but I’m not wowed.

So, now I’m back to Peet’s medium roast until I can find the next cup of perfection. I love fresh coffee. There is a man in Fort Worth who roasts his own coffee beans in small batches, and everyone raves about Pop’s Coffee, but he doesn’t package it in K Cups. I know I could use the refillable cup that came with my machine, and I may try that at some point.

There has to be one that fits my taste requirements. Not too bitter, not too weak, not too strong…you get the picture. I feel like the Three Bears and Goldilocks searching for the one that is just right. 🙂 Tell me. What is your favorite cuppa?

My oldest granddaughter was in the Moana Jr. play last weekend, and I know I’m probably biased, but she really did shine on stage. She played the part of Pua, Moana’s pet pig. She had quite a few lines and sang as well. I captured the joy on her face with this photo.

Next week is the Thanksgiving holiday in the U.S., and I will be taking a blogging break to be with family. The girls are out of school, so my days will be full. I will do my regular Monday post, but then I will take a break for the rest of the week.
