Welcome to another Tarot Tuesday!
If you are just joining me, let me explain the inspiration to begin these posts. In Texas, and all across the country, Taco Tuesday is a popular day when Tacos are usually 99 cents. So, I had the inspiration, or Angel nudge as I like to think of it, to create a Tarot Tuesday. Each Tuesday I will post a different Tarot card and give its meaning. I pray and ask for the right card that will bring a universal message.
I created a short video to demonstrate how I pull the card for the posts. If you’re interested, here’s a LINK.
Today’s card comes from the Major Arcana – Justice.
The keywords for this card are: Justice, fairness, truth, cause and effect, or law.
You are possibly being called to account for your actions and will be judged accordingly. If you have acted in alignment with your Higher Self and for the greater good of others, you have nothing to worry about. However, if you haven’t, you will be called out and made to own up to your actions. If this has you shaking in your boots, know that the Justice card isn’t as black and white as you may think. A level of compassion and understanding accompany Justice, and although you may have done something you regret, this card suggests that you will be treated fairly and without bias. Be ready to take responsibility for your actions and stand accountable for the ensuing consequences.
If you seek justice, then the Justice card is a positive sign that it will indeed be served. You may be part of a legal case or awaiting final judgement from the courts or a governing body or institution. A ruling will be passed down shortly. Once the decision is made, you must accept it and move on; there are no retrials or second chances with the upright Justice card.
The Justice card often appears when you need to make an important choice with the potential for long-term repercussions. Be aware of the impact your decisions will have on your well-being and the well-being of others. Choose consciously by connecting with your inner guidance system (your intuition) and asking for the answer that is most in alignment with the highest good of all.
At its core, Justice is about the search for truth. As you explore your truth, you will discover that things are not as clear-cut as you had thought. Be prepared to dip into the murky waters and explore what truth means to you. Be consciously aware of what you believe to be true and what you believe to be fair and ethical. It may not be as clear-cut as you think, so prepare to challenge yourself and to explore new territories of your belief system.
Another aspect of this card worth noting is that it is the 11th card in the Major Arcana. In Numerology, number 11 is a master number and represents inspiration, illumination, and spiritual enlightenment.
I don’t know how this card applies to me at this point in my life, but I am going to meditate on it and see what truth I am exploring. How about you? Does this card resonate with anyone?
Thank you for joining me! See you next Tuesday for another inspiring message from the Universe via the Tarot Cards!
As always, I use the Rider-Waite Radiance deck and BiddyTarot.com for interpretations.
Tuesday was a huge day for considering “justice” in Washington DC,Jan. I think the whole country was watching the scales. We’ll see what happens as justice continues to seek the truth and find her balance. An amazing card to choose, I think.
So very true, Diana. From that perspective, this card is perfect and I can only hope Justice will prevail over all the crookedness and lies!
A great reminder! We all need this one… Thanks so much for sharing, Jan!
Thanks for stopping in, Bette!
Always a pleasure, Jan! 🙂

This card is another power card (as all of the Major Arkana are). I don’t know either how it fits into my life right now. As it has to do with the ego justice and the heart truth… this little war that can take place in us at times without even noticing… yes, maybe it fits… hehe.
Sometimes it helps to look at things from outside the box, huh, Erika? Thanks so much for your thought-provoking comment!
True, Jan, it does! Always a pleasure, Jan 😊
It is a card that I felt. I have been wishing for justice in our world for everyone. So on that level it applies, as for me I’m okay with atoning my actions. I’m still dragging my feet with making certain decisions as well. Another good card and insight, Jan!
That’s a GREAT way to view this card, Denise – on a more Universal level. It would be nice to have fair and unbiased Justice in the world! Thank you for stopping by! Hugs!
I don’t have any connection at the moment, but the background is certainly interesting, Jan!
I feel the same, Mae. Thanks so much for stopping by!
I don’t know how it applies but I did get a statement from Farmers Insurance that a class action settlement has been reached on too high premiums and I’m due a refund. Maybe this is justice. Anyway, per the card, I’ll take it without a fight.
Hmmm, could be, John. At least it’s some form of justice for sure! Thanks for stopping by.
An odd card to turn up. This puzzles me and I’m not sure how it applies.
I feel the same, sister, but it did show up, so I have to go with it and hope that it gets clear. Thank you for stopping by! I love you!
I love your Tarot posts, Jan. I find them so fascinating!! Thank you for sharing with us. As for the card, I’m not quite sure how it applies to my life, although I also feel like it might could mean several different things for me. Sounds like I need to do some meditating myself.
Thank you, Marlena! This card seems to be speaking to people in different ways. Meditating can help bring clarity. I’m happy you stopped by!
You know, that’s what I really like about these posts. You interpret the cards so well, yet it still leaves open possibilities.
I enjoyed reading about this card; although, it doesn’t apply to me right now. It’s one to be taken seriously, that’s for sure. Thanks for the reading, Jan!
Hi, Vashti. I agree in that this card doesn’t seem to apply to me right now, but it is to be taken seriously for sure! Thanks for stopping by!
