Choosing only ten books out of the 70 I read in 2025 was doubly hard because I read so many great stories.

We lost Joan in 2025 and I included this book, not for that reason, but because it was her best story!
I can’t let it end here. So, I’ll share a few more that deserve a mention. I highly recommend any or ALL of these as well!

I’ve read one of the books on your top ten list, #8 Burning Butterflies, as well as two of your honorable mentions, Badlands and King Copper and I can certainly vouch for those three great books. I highly recommend them. However, I will try to read as many as possible among the other ones you list.

Great list! I would have a difficult time ranking all the great books I read this year. I took the Goodreads challenge, set a goal of 75, and I ended up reading 77 for the year.
