Hello, friends and welcome back to the blog tour for Fringes, Heartstrings, and Lyrics! Today, we sail across the ocean to South Africa for a visit with the multi-talented Robbie Cheadle!

I have great admiration for Robbie Cheadle and have known her for several years. She has written a series of children’s books with her son, Michael, is a photographer, a self-taught artist, a creator of amazing cake fondant art, and has written novels and poetry. That’s a heck of a lot, isn’t it?
Here is just one of her books I enjoyed immensely.

This summary says it all!
“In this reflective collection of syllabic poetry, poet Roberta Cheadle weaves words, emotions, and images as she recounts her soul-stirring journey around South Africa in 2022. She highlights the plight of the animals in the face of the Sixth Mass Extinction, during a visit to Ukutula Lodge & Game Reserve. Lion Roar is a poetic and photographic roadmap to the heart & soul of South Africa with highlights about the increasing impact of global warming on humanity and the greater planet. A must read!”
