Happy Friday! I am happy to say we have had fabulous weather this week in Texas! Temperatures have been below 100 and most parts of the state even got a welcome bit of rain. Maybe Fall is really right around the corner.
This has been a productive week for me, and I hope it has been for you as well. I finished my final read-through and edit of “A Beggar’s Bargain” and sent it to my editor. I have set a release date of March 12, 2024. Here’s a draft that’s still in the creation phase for the cover. Let me know what you think and if you have any suggestions.
The background for the covers of each book in this series will be the same with only the vehicle and dog changing. As I said, I’m open to any suggestions you might have.
I’m still in a quandary over changing the covers of my true story books. I did, however, design a logo that would go on each new cover, if I ever find the right cover design I need.
I’m still playing with the colors as they could change depending on what I decide on for the covers.
My little grandson got an academic award this week. He’s in fourth grade and so darned smart!
I’m proud of Connor. Then it was Grandparents Day at Samantha’s school.
My daughter and son-in-law’s rental in Broken Bow, Oklahoma, is finally finished and available for a fabulous getaway. It’s gorgeous! And I love the name, Hummingbird Hideaway.
This week on Jacqui Murray’s blog, she provided some amazing and invaluable tech tips. If you missed it, I highly suggest you take a look. I downloaded this graphic, but her blog has so much more. There were many things I did not know. Here’s the LINK.
Also, this week, Sally Cronin featured the first book in the Harbor Pointe Series! Mae Clair’s The Price of Atonement is set to release on 9/26/23! Many thanks to Sally for the spotlight. We are all excited that they are about to release like dominos falling! Here’s the link to Sally’s Blog: LINK
To everyone who has pre-ordered any of these books, THANK YOU!!
If you haven’t ordered yet, here’s the link to all of them! HARBOR POINTE SERIES
We had a lot of fun in my last month’s newsletter, with the question posed about how we each put on our socks and shoes. The options were sock, shoe, sock, shoe OR sock, sock, shoe, shoe. Sock, shoe, sock, shoe won by a landslide.
Thanks to and idea I got from Kymber Hawke’s blog, I have a new question in this month’s newsletter that is getting interesting responses. Are you subscribed? If not, you’re missing out on some fun and a chance to win an Amazon gift card. You can subscribe HERE.
If you want to play another fun game, make a grocery list, then leave it lying on the kitchen counter and try to guess what was on it at the store.
Have a fabulous weekend!
