What is Labor Day? It is a day set aside to celebrate the millions of workers who keep our nation moving.
It’s an official Monday holiday in the United States, and I am spending part of the day today with my children and grandchildren at a water park. It’s their last big splash for the summer. For that reason, I am foregoing my regular Monday post as I will be away and unable to respond to comments.
However, I do want to leave you with this inspiration for the week. It’s not only powerful but timely.
Mannaz is the rune that is connected to the sense of union that unites all humanity to the cosmos. The god shown on the card has three faces—one facing the moon, one turning toward the sun, and one looking ahead. His gaze embraces the totality of the world and mankind.
This card alludes to cooperation and reminds us that no one is an island. We are bound by invisible threads that cannot be dissolved. The card indicates collective dreams and the joy of cooperating and having a shared project. Unity is strength. Exchange and communication are two key components of the card.
Mannaz facilitates communication and exchange between us and others.
Thank you for stopping by. I’ll return to my regular Monday posts next week. In the meantime, make it a great week ahead!
