Happy Monday, everyone. I hope you had a wonderful weekend and are ready to start another week. Today, I am sharing a short meditation from Jason Stephenson to help start your day in a positive way. Enjoy!
This mini-Tarot reading for the first week of March week starts off with two cards from the Major Arcana. The Chariot is all about willpower, determination, and strength. The Chariot calls on you to assert yourself and be courageous. I know for some, that comes easily. For me, asserting myself does not come easy, so I draw upon the strength of this card to help. It can also indicate travel, but with the pandemic still in full swing, not so sure that applies. The Temperance card reminds us of the importance of finding balance, practicing moderation, having patience, and keeping purpose firmly set in your heart. We round the week out with the Nine of Cups which symbolizes contentment, gratitude, and satisfaction. I can’t think of a better tone to start and end this week with.
Thank you for stopping by and engaging with Monday Meditation, Motivation and Mini-Tarot reading! I’d love to hear from you!
Beautiful meditation, Jan 🙂 I love the reading and, like you, struggle with that assertion.
So glad you enjoyed the post, Denise. Hopefully, we can draw on the strength of The Chariot!
Reblogged this on GrannyMoon's Morning Feast.
That’s really a beautiful reading, at least to tell from the depth it speaks to my heart. Thank you, Jan. Will do the meditation in a bit.
That is wonderful, Erika! I’m so glad it spoke to you. Have a great week and enjoy the meditation!
It did… and it always does. It is like heaven is waving at us lovingly. Thank you for being its herald.
A lovely meditation, Jan, and perfect cards to start the month. (I’m hoping that they accurately describe my week of writing!) The sun in out and spring is in the air. Thanks for starting my week with a smile. <3
Thank you for stopping by, Diana. I am so glad you enjoyed the meditation and card reading. I agree with you. Spring is in the air and soon the last remnants of winter will fade. Have a great week!
Thanks for sharing all this wonderful positive energy with us, Jan! Such a great way to begin a new week. 😊
It is my pleasure, Soooz. Thank you for stopping by and I wish you a fabulous week ahead!
I think the cards tell me to be assertive but with balance which will lead to satisfaction. Super post today, Jan. 😁
A short, sweet, and on-point analysis, John! Thank you for stopping by!
Hahaha. Thanks, Jan
Jan, I’m heartened by the reading for the week. I too, struggle with asserting myself and finding courage to do the daunting tasks. But I am getting better. It’s important to not go overboard. Too much assertiveness is not good either. We have to find a balance and I think that’s why the Temperance card came up. The 9 of cups is perfect. I always try to practice gratitude for every thing Universe is giving me. Love the meditation too. It’s so crucial to stop for ten minutes and get myself to a good place. Love you, sister.
Good morning, sister. I’m so happy you stopped by and found the ten minutes to stop and regroup. 🙂 I agree about the cards. I think they are perfect for the week ahead. Thank you so much for your comment. I love you!!
A positive start for the week and month, Jan … I think we are all finding that courage within ourselves and as for journeys, maybe the huge inner journey for each and everyone of us! It’s been a long emotional haul and calling upon reserves we probably didn’t even know existed. BTW. A beautiful photo and wonderful quote by Helen Keller – she taught us so much!
Hi, Annika. I like that the journey you envision is an inner and not an outward one. I totally embrace that. You’re right in that it’s been a long emotional haul and we all found strengths we didn’t know we had. Thank you for stopping by and I’m glad you enjoyed the Helen Keller quote! Have a great week!
Beautiful, Jan. As I gazed upon the images, I was struck by the message they carry. You’ve described it wonderfully. The particular message I received was to persevere, to drink from the Divine, and bask in the abundance that surrounds us all. 💗
That is an uplifting and profound message, dear Gwen. We can get so caught up in daily nothings that we forget who we are and what we are connected to. Thank you so much for sharing and I wish you a divinely abundant day! Hugs!
Perhaps travel has to do with the journeys we take when reading or writing. Or even the comfort of our thoughts while meditating.
Lovely, Jan.
That is such a great point, Mae. We can travel the world through the pages of a book (reading or writing) and most definitely through meditation. Thank you for that thought and thank you for stopping by today! Have a wonderful lady!
I’m not the best at asserting myself either, Jan. Great meditation today! Thanks!
Thank you for stopping by, Jill. You and I will pull on the strength of The Chariot to stand up in our own truths! Have a great and glad you enjoyed the meditation!
Ah, balance. I could certainly use some of that right about now. Thanks for sharing, Jan.
Yes, can’t we all, Staci? It seems to be an ongoing battle for me, but maybe that’s just the life of a writer. 🙂 Thanks for stopping by!
My birthday is at the end of this week, and these cards fill me with great, positive energy. Thanks for sharing this today, Jan. And thanks for another wonderful meditation. I love starting Mondays this way. 🙂
I’m so glad you found positive energy from the cards, Yvette! I did too. And happy early birthday! Enjoy your week and thank you for stopping by! Hugs!
Thank you, Jan! 🙂
