Welcome to the first Monday of March. I am so encouraged that my health is almost back to normal and I’m working again. I absolutely love this quote. It’s so true. You never know what lies ahead.
This is a beautiful meditation and fits with the above quote.
Now to see what the cards have in store for the week.
The Hanged Man aptly describes where I’ve been. It is a state of inaction, of being still and waiting. It also represents gaining a new perspective. When suspended upside down, there is time to reflect and see things from a different angle. Often getting curious about what you can learn from the forced waiting period will lead to new insights. Surrender to what is happening and find peace during moments of inactivity until the time is right for action and transformation.
The keyword to the Judgement card is awakening. It is important to release judgement of yourself. In order to move forward in life, you have to be willing to accept and release your past. This makes way for the next phase of life. Judgement contains all the elements of the cycle of surrender-release-forgive, which taken together allows you to move on from the past and into a more vibrant future.
The Queen of Cups is the epitome of nurturing feminine energy. It can also represent the presence of intense emotions in your life. Ask yourself, is there someone who has been influencing your emotions? Have my own emotions been trying to tell me something? Are we each taking the time to nurture ourselves? It’s so easy to give this loving energy to others, but about ourselves?
MY TAKEAWAY:
I feel these three cards tell a whole story. From a state of hanging out (inaction) to surrendering, releasing and forgiving, to self-care and self-love; it’s an entire cycle. From my personal perspective, the state of inaction was due to the intense illness I battled for days. Left over from that is the need to let go, forgive and move on into what is next, but taking the time to take care of myself.
What do you see in these cards? Do they apply to you right now?
A gorgeous little dragon hopped out ,and it’s one of the most intricately detailed cards in the deck.
I hope you each have a wonderful week ahead full of unforeseen wonderful surprises!
I stopped getting your posts too. I’ve resubscribed, so this should help! Did you leave WP? Are you using the Creator plan? Your site looks fabulous. 💖
Hi, Colleen. No, I didn’t leave WordPress. I just integrated my blog into my website. I lost a lot of subscribers in the process, but moving on. Thank you for visiting and glad you like the site!
Oh, no! I’m sorry to hear that. You can download your follower’s emails and upload them to your site. 💜
I tried that and even got WP help, but they said my download file was corrupted, so I was not able to upload my subscribers.
That’s crazy. I would upload the followers from my mailing list. LOL! I’m so sorry you’ve had all these problems. 💖
Thank you, Colleen. I’m over it. I stressed about it for days, but finally gave up. It will be okay.
I know what you mean. After I upgraded and lost all that money, I felt the same way. Now, I just want to move forward which means I’ll go back to the premium plan in early autumn.
The reading seemed perfect for you, Jan, and I thought of you as I read about them. They aren’t applicable to me now (but have been in the past, that’s for sure). Perhaps they were for you this week. I’m glad you’re on the mend and moving forward. <3
The reading definitely hit home for me, Diana. I appreciate you taking the time to stop by and leave a comment!
<3
Hi Jan, another interesting reading. I’ve just come through a most dreadful two-week period of dealing with a most difficult situation. Happily, everything is now resolved. I get terrible backache when I’ve very stressed but that is also, thankfully, passing now. I am glad you are also recovered.
Oh goodness, Robbie. Life sure can throw us some curve balls. So glad you got past the difficult period and that it is resolved. Self-care is the theme for this reading, so take time to breathe. Thank you for stopping by!
My pleasure, Jan, and thank you for your kind words.
So nice to see your blog back up and running as usual. I missed this Monday motivation. I just resubscribed so hopefully it won’t take me until Wednesday the next time to comment!
Lol! Hopefully it will work. Glad you made it by, Jacqui. Hope you are having a great week!
Interesting they came out like that. It does feel like a cycle of some kind.
Glad you could see the cycle, Craig. Thanks so much for stopping by!
Hi Jan. I came here via your old blog. I subscribed when you first informed us, yet, I haven’t received any email notifications since or yet for this new site? Is there a way you can check if I’m a subscriber? Thanks. x
I looked, Debby, and don’t see you as a subscriber. I’ll try adding you manually. WordPress can be so darned frustrating! Thank you for trying to stay with me. I deeply appreciate it!
I will subscribe again. 🙂
You are now showing up as a subscriber, Debby! Yay!!
Yay. Finally! 🙂
Yay!!
Love that cute dragon and the quote. Glad to hear you’re feeling better, Jan!
Thanks, Teri! Glad you enjoyed the post!
I love your quote at the top, Jan. And I’m so glad to hear you are feeling better. We all definitely need to make the time to care for ourselves.
As always, such a pretty dragon card.
Thank you, Mae. I’m happy you stopped by and glad you enjoyed the quote and little dragon. Yes, we all need to take time for self-care, and I’m the world’s worst. I take care of everyone else before I take care of me, but this bout with sickness has me rethinking that. I hope you have a fantastic week! Happy release day tomorrow!!
Thanks so much, Jan. I’m wishing you an awesome week, too—-and a healthy one. Keep taking care of yourself!
I like that dragon and reading, Jan 🙂 Sometimes all we can do is let go and ride with it, knowing it will work out. I had to sign up again for your blog. Fingers crossed it sticks this time. I had to do this on others too.
I’m glad you enjoyed today’s post, Denise. I agree that many times, all we can do is let go. The world won’t stop turning one way or another. WP can be so frustrating. Hope it sticks this time, too. Thank you for stopping by!
I’m so happy you’re feeling better, Jan. Love this dragon card! Enjoy the first week of March! xo
You and me both, Mary. I still have a lingering cough, but feeling pretty much back to normal. Thank you for stopping by and leaving a comment! Hugs!
I love the Aquamarine dragon! So glad you are feeling better. Onwards and upwards!
Thank you for cheering me on, Darlene. So glad you liked the dragon. It is gorgeous. Have a great week!
