Monday #Motivation #Meditation #TarotReading #OracleCards

It’s Monday! And the start of my birthday week! I am embracing all of it!

I chose this image because one of my birthday events is a ride in a hot air balloon!

The meditation I chose to share today is a quick chakra realignment. It’s always good to keep them activated and open.

The Tarot reading this week, as always, is absolutely amazing. Remember I pull these cards randomly so I never know what they are until I turn them over.

The Five of Pentacles depicts hard times, especially when it comes to work and career. It may leave you feeling isolated and alone. Just like the two people in the card, you feel as if you have been left out in the cold. You may wonder, “Why is no one coming to help me!?” It may appear as if no one cares anymore. However, since the windows in the church are lit up, help is nearby; but you are too focused on your problems to notice. You may be waiting for someone to come and help you when really, you need to be proactive and ask for help.

But coming out of that temporary period, the Four of Pentacles is indicative of saving money and being conservative. The Four of Pentacles typically accompanies a scarcity mindset, especially with money and material possessions. Instead of spending your cash and enjoying a comfortable lifestyle, you are choosing to stockpile your finances, for fear you might lose it all or someone else might take it away. Your budget may be so conservative or strict that it cuts out many of life’s pleasures, including travel, social occasions, gifts, or fun activities – but for what purpose? Money works best when it can flow and exchange, not when it is being stashed away. The broader lesson with the Four of Pentacles is to honor and respect money and wealth but don’t become so attached that you lose sight of what’s most important to you: friends, family, happiness, and love.

Then comes the Magician with a dramatic flourish as a master manifestor. The Magician brings you the tools, resources, and energy you need to make your dreams come true. Seriously, everything you need right now is at your fingertips. You have the spiritual (fire), physical (earth), mental (air), and emotional (water) resources to manifest your desires. And when you combine them with the energy of the spiritual and earthly realms, you will become a manifestation powerhouse! The key is to bring these tools together synergistically so that the impact of what you create is greater than the separate parts. This is alchemy at its best! When you are clear about your ‘what’ and your ‘why’, the Magician calls on you to take inspired action. You will need focused attention and intense concentration to bring your goals to fruition. Focus on the ONE thing that will move you towards your goal

So, it’s almost as if it’s an answer to prayer. When we suffer loss or scarcity, it creates fear and a desire to hoard what we have. But the Magician is telling us to use the magic at our fingertips to create our own abundance using the skills, knowledge, and capabilities we have gathered along life’s path. We can do this!

The Dragon Oracle Card is SO beautiful and fits perfectly with the reading!

  1. Oh, Jan, where do I start? I absolutely LOVE the dream quote. It has such beautiful meaning. The whole post does. When I’m away from work, I need to go back and catch up on some of your meditation videos. Lord knows I need them. The tarot reading is quite interesting. I feel I can relate to all 3 cards in some way, especially the Magician. That one really speaks to me about my writing journey and my ultimate goal. Lastly, the Dragon Oracle Card truly is perfect, like you said. I want to print this one out and carry it with me always. I’m so glad you share these readings with us. Thank you for that!!

    1. It is truly my pleasure, Mar. When I put them together, I always pray that the right cards, the right meditation, and the right motivation will come through me. And, they do. I love the way the Universe works. Thank you for your lovely comment! Hugs!

  2. My son and I rode a hot air balloon over Napa Valley. It was awesome (and HOT). You may want to bring a jacket as an extra layer from the heat. This reading fit me perfectly (once again…lol!). With schools reopening and the mask debate continuing, there is a lot of stress about the best way to stay safe within my classroom (as well as keeping my son safe at his school). I just spent a lot of money remodeling my bathrooms, so I am deep in saving mode right now (LOL). And the Magician… knowing I cannot control my work situation, I am focusing on my physical and mental well-being. Those are two areas that I have learned to manage and fortify. Happy birthday, Jan! Have fun on the hot air balloon, and remember to take a moment of stillness while you are up there and just be present in the moment. 🙂

    1. Thank you for your lovely comment, Yvette. I would say this reading definitely fits your life. I can only imagine the amount of stress put on teachers in this crazy climate where everyone seems to have volatile opinions. I am so glad the Magician showed up to give us hope! I am so super excited about the balloon ride. I will be sharing my experience! Have a blessed day!

    1. I love the quote too. It’s true. There is no expiration date on dreams. I am super excited about the hot air balloon ride. I’ll be sharing my experience for sure! Thank you for stopping by, Joan!

  3. Really liking that magician card – I should frame one for inspiration. Happy birthday week! Hope you enjoy the hot air balloon ride – I’d love to give it a try. Can’t wait to hear about it.

    1. What a great idea, Teri. That would certainly provide inspiration. I am so excited about the balloon ride! I will be sharing my experience for sure. Thank you for stopping by!

A hot air balloon ride sounds amazing. What a great birthday event and hope your week is amazing:) Great reading, it really hit home, but good reminder to see the whole picture. Off to mediate. Thanks, Jan.

    1. Thank you, Denise. I am super excited about floating in a balloon. It’s been a long time coming. The reading really hit home with me and got excited when the Magician showed up! Thank you for participating! Hugs!

  5. A hot air balloon ride has been on my bucket list for a while, and I’m thinking it’s time to do it! 😊 Please update us about your ride and know we’ll be singing Happy Birthday from the trenches. I loved today’s reading, Jan. Great job!! 💗

    1. Gwen, you are in the perfect place for a hot air balloon ride! I’d like to be floating over mountain or desert scenery rather than Dallas, but I’ll take what I can get. 🙂 I’m glad you enjoyed the reading. It certainly ends on a positive note! Thank you for your comment!

  6. Wishing you an awesome birthday week, and lots of fun with that hot air balloon ride, Jan. I’m not sure I’d have the courage as I am deathly afraid of heights.
The dragon card is gorgeous, and I love the message at the bottom, especially “expect miracles.” 🙂

    1. Thank you, Mae, for the wishes. I am really looking forward to floating in the balloon. There will be 8 of us, so I get to enjoy it with loved ones, including three of my grandchildren. I love the dragon card too! In fact, I am loving working with this deck of cards. They are all beautiful. Have a great Monday!
