Monday Motivation – #Meditation – #TarotReading – #Unicorn OracleCard

Hello! I hope everyone had a great weekend and you’re ready to tackle a new week ahead. I love this quote from Edgar Allan Poe. It rings true. Blessed be the dreamers.

Here is a wonderfully centering meditation and a great way to start any day.

This is an interesting set of cards. It’s rare to get all three of one suit.

I’d say this week’s theme is focused on the physical and grounded in Earth.

The Six of Pentacles is the sharing card. Sharing involves both giving and receiving. Is it easier for you to give than receive? There is a need for balance, as is shown by the scales the man is holding in his left hand. Do not allow yourself to feel unworthy or underserving if someone wants to give to you. Instead, learn to receive graciously and then give generously when the opportunity arises. The more comfortable you become with receiving, the more abundance will flow into your life.

As with all of the aces in tarot, the Ace of Pentacles indicates a new beginning. And because pentacles are associated with material wealth, a prosperous new beginning is unfolding for you. Be open to new opportunities presented or a gift from the universe in the material realm. The first step toward increasing prosperity is a change with unlimited growth potential. Grab hold while you can.

The Four of Pentacles represents stability and conserving resources. Feeling financially stable is a concern for everyone, and once you’ve achieved some level of comfort, it’s easy to focus on maintaining what you have and can lose sight of potential growth. This card asks you to affirm that you are stable and safe and remember that you will always have what you need. Holding on too tightly to the material world will never satisfy your need for a sense of security.

MY TAKEAWAY:

To me, these cards are all deeply intertwined and create a full circle. Through generosity and gracious receiving, you create an unlimited flow of abundance that can open new doors and opportunities. Then, once you have reached financial stability, circle back to the generosity and sharing card. It’s an ebb and flow and a sensual dance.

I’d love to hear your thoughts!

This gorgeous Unicorn card issues a wonderful invitation directly related to the Ace of Pentacles!

    1. I am also a lifelong chronic daydreamer, and it used to get me into trouble when I was a kid. Now I only have to answer to myself for those crazy dreams. 🙂 Thanks for stopping by, Dan. I’m glad you enjoyed the quote!

  1. I really love how you described the cards as coming full circle. What a lovely interpretation. My husband just had his shoulder replaced, so we’re quite grounded right now and focused on physical concerns and financial stability. I’m the giver now and will make sure I do a little receiving too so I don’t burn out. Wise advice.

    1. I wish for speedy and complete healing for your husband, Diana. It is important not to burn out when you are the caregiver. But it’s temporary, and hopefully, your household will be back to normal soon. Thank you for stopping by. I’m glad you enjoyed the reading!

  2. Thank you, Jan, for sharing your tarot reading. I love the Enter the Magic quote to live for now and to seize the moment. I’m now inspired to write.

  3. I was taken by seeing all the stars. I love the lesson of giving and receiving and the nature flow it offers. It is too easy to focus on the financial side and miss so much. Yes, focus on the magic, that card made me cheer. Xo

  4. One word resonated with me, Jan: Grounded. It’s been a long week of extreme highs, surprises, and shifts. I’m now “grounding”
to let everything settle. Thanks so much for these Monday posts. Enjoy your week, Jan! ❤️?

    1. That is fantastic to hear, Mary. Sometimes, the energy is so intense and moving so fast we don’t have time to ground. Glad you are letting everything settle, and super glad you enjoy the posts! Have a great week!

  5. I am amazed by this reading again. The cards are so in harmony and make one story. Be open to chances, take them when given, cherish them, and live them. That’s how we create a solid foundation physically (in this case) but also spiritually.

    1. That is very true, Erika. It works the same whether in the physical realm or our spiritual life. Not only receive, but share generously. It’s the perfect ebb and flow. I’m so glad you enjoyed the post today. Thank you for leaving a comment!

    1. Thank you, Jill. Yes. I am continuing to heal. I can now walk short distances, and everything is healing up nicely. Soon it will be a distant memory. I’m glad you enjoyed the post today!

  6. What a lovely way to start the day and the week! Thank you, Jan. As a Taurus, I often feel a special affinity for pentacles, and I love this reminder to accept as graciously and thoughtfully as one gives. My only pause/concern is the word unlimited (“The first step toward increasing prosperity is a change with unlimited growth potential.”) I was given the same word (“You are unlimited”) by my tea bag this morning. While it is true that the sun gives our planet a vast and seemingly unlimited (it will end eventually in millions of years…) supply of energy each and every day, the resources and interconnected ecosystems which support us human beings are finite. And behaving as if we can blithely do unlimited things — build unlimited cars, fly unlimited miles, create unlimited new neighborhoods by bulldozing finite fields and forests, sell unlimited numbers of cell phones, eat unlimited amounts of meat, etc. etc. etc.) with little or no wise thought/planning regarding the consequences of these actions has created an increasing number of challenges that our children, grandchildren, great grandchildren (and hopefully beyond) will be wrestling with for years to come.

    1. You make a good point, Will. Unlimited can be a double-edged sword, as you point out, with the unlimited neighborhoods eating up what used to be rich and fertile farmland. I live in a huge metropolis, and the growth never stops. Any empty plot of land is being filled with apartments or housing districts. It’s sad. And you are so right about those coming behind us will be dealing with the consequences for many years to come. Thank you so much for stopping by and leaving a thoughtful comment!
