I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday here in the United States. I took a break from blogging to spend time with family, and it was a wonderful reboot.
I love this quote from John Irving. It takes searching and courage.

I found this meditation to be gentle and uplifting, and hope you will, too.
And now for what the Tarot cards have to say for the week ahead.
The Knight of Wands indicates the time has arrived to take action on your ideas or projects. Consider this a green light to begin. Once you take the first step, everything else will begin to speed up to propel you in the direction you have chosen. As with all of the Knights, this one exudes confidence and purpose. He is telling you to have confidence in yourself, your ideas, and your ability to deliver. If you’ve been feeling blocked or stagnant, the energy from this card comes to reignite the spark of your passion.
The Eight of Wands is all about movement and quick action. Incoming news may spark a series of events that change your trajectory. You find yourself where you need to be and in the company of the right people. Flow with the current. Events move quickly and everything falls into place without you needing to push for a particular outcome. Relax and ride the wave of excitement.
The Eight of Swords dispels the forward momentum and excitement of the two wand cards. It indicates a feeling of being trapped or restricted either by circumstances, the past, or your own internal fears of uncertainty. You may find yourself making excuses for why you can’t move forward or holding everything inside, feeling powerless to make a change. The advice here is to have faith and be patient with yourself. This process takes patience and perseverance, but you can do it!
MY TAKEAWAY:
At first, I thought the Eight of Swords would make more sense in the first position of the reading, but that’s not where it landed. There is a lot of energy around the Wand cards with new exciting ideas and passions that can come to a grinding halt with the Eight of Swords. What I feel about this is to go with the feelings of passion and forward momentum and not allow yourself to get stopped by your own outward circumstances or inner fears. Power through and let the passion flow.
I hope it makes sense to you. What are your thoughts?
This is a gorgeous Unicorn card with a great message. Signs and symbols are all around us every day. This card reminds us to be aware and stay mindful.

You had me at the Unicorn card. <3
Power through goes along with my motto of just keep swimming, Jan. Have a great week!
Always excellent readings, Jan.
Thank you, John!
?
Another great reading, Jan. I have been putting projects off and letting life interfere with what brings me joy. That unicorn card is goregous. Hugs
I think this time of year, it’s super easy to let life interfere especially as health problems crop up. I’m glad you enjoyed the reading. It’s not always easy to pursue what brings joy, but the reward is worth it. I’m glad you liked the unicorn card. Thanks for visiting, Denise!
Love the quote, Jan. This reading is one for me to ponder but not too long. Thank you! Have a fabulous week! xo
Thank you, Mary. I’m glad you stopped by today and glad you enjoyed the post. And, I agree. Something to ponder, but not too long. Hugs!
Hi Jan, what a great reading I like the sound of the first two cards. The third is just me being me ?
Lol! I love your comment, Robbie, about the third card. 🙂 It’s all good. I wish you a wonderful week ahead!
Again, the cards nailed it. The sword cards hit me hard last night, when much to my surprise, I had dinner with crow haters! Not only crows, though their hatred ran deep. They also hated all animals in general. *gasp* I felt emotionally scarred this morning. My soul and faith in humanity was healed this morning by another friend who sent me a heartwarming video of people helping a whale family, who were in pain from being covered in barnacles. Now, I can reset.
What?? That’s horrible. I would have hated sharing a meal with people who voiced those kinds of opinions. Glad you had a chance to reset this morning with the video. There are kind and caring people in the world (for both humans and animals.) Thank you for stopping by and leaving a comment. I hope you have a wonderful week ahead!
You can’t go wrong when you choose faith over fear. Thanks for sharing, Jan. I loved the photo on IG of your daughters. They are beautiful, like their mother. xo
So very true, Jill. Faith over Fear can move mountains! Thank you for stopping by and thank you for the daughter compliment. They are amazing women!
Fits so well again! I just received a big order plus on the weekend I will participate in the first Christmas market. So, the first two cards represent that and the possible development very well. Also, the third card goes a long with my feelings like “oh, will I keep it all under control”, “will I be able to grow with the development”… but it is only my thoughts… of course, I will, YES!
So often, our inner thoughts are what stop us. I love that you can recognize it and power through it. Yes, you can, and it will all work out. Here’s to a prosperous week ahead! Thank you for stopping by and adding your comment, Erika!
YES!! Thank you for your encouragement, dear Jan! You have a wonderful week too ?
Guess I’ll try to hit it hard in the first days of the week.
Right. And send the sword lady packing if she shows up. 🙂 Thanks for stopping by, Craig!
An interesting reading for sure. I’m with you on your interpretation of the placement of the cards, and the quote at the top is spot on. Thanks for sharing, Jan, and have a wonderful week ???
I have to go with however the cards come out, but this one confused me a bit, Harmony. Thank you for stopping by, and hope you are recuperating well. Hugs!
