Welcome to the first Monday in February! I am also over at Story Empire today with a blog post on using gemstones in fiction writing. I hope you’ll take time to visit!

I love the Tarot theme for the week!

The Queen of Cups focuses on emotional stability, compassion, and sensitivity. I also see her as well-balanced. She has one foot on the water and one on earth, giving her a fluid motion of grounding. She is connected to her emotions but not overwhelmed by them. In your creative projects and endeavors, you feel your way into them, trusting your heart and your inner guidance to lead you in the right direction. You know when something is off, and you pay attention to this, even if it doesn’t make rational sense. This card invites you to trust your intuition and pay attention to your feelings and emotions. Lead with your heart, not your head. Be open to receiving the intuitive messages flowing to you, be it through your dreams, meditation, or visualization.

The Judgement card is calling you to rise up and embrace a higher level of consciousness for the service of your Highest Good. You are experiencing a spiritual awakening and realizing that you are destined for so much more. This is your cosmic up-leveling! You hear the call and are ready to act. Tune in to a higher frequency. Let go of your old self and step into this newest version of who you really are. You may be facing a life-changing decision that requires a blend of intuition and intellect. It’s also an invitation to review what you’ve learned from past experiences and then release them.  This card suggests that you may find comfort in sharing your struggles with others within a group environment. There will be others who have experienced something similar and who can show you the way to freedom from your troubles. Let them guide you and help you – rise together. (Awww, I love that! That’s us!)

In its purest form, The Lovers card represents conscious connections and meaningful relationships. It is a card of open communication and raw honesty. Given that the man and woman are naked, they are both willing to be in their most vulnerable states and have learned to open their hearts to one another and share their truest feelings. On a more personal level, Thia card represents getting clear about your values and beliefs. You are figuring out what you stand for and your philosophy. It is about choice. The choice about who you want to be in this lifetime, how you connect with others and on what level, and what you will and won’t stand for.

MY TAKEAWAY:

To me, the Queen of Cups represents the perfect emotional balance. It’s all about leading with your heart and not your head, while the Judgement card adds another level of opening up to your intuition, learning from your past, and letting go in order to move forward. I love the invitation to participate in a group environment where others can share their struggles and gains. On a basic level, that encompasses our blogging community. I thought The Lovers card popped up because we are so close to Valentine’s Day, but it also represents more than just a couple’s relationship. It’s all about relationships with others in a real and honest way, stemming from your values and beliefs.

And what a gorgeous Angel card this week. It certainly fits with the Tarot cards.
