I am so happy to return to my regular posts and to catch up just a little with some of your blogs. I cannot even begin to go backward and see them all, so moving forward. This quote hit me squarely in the gut, as a profound truth will often do.

The meditation I found to share today is such a powerful way to connect with the energy of our beautiful planet.
I know it’s not the first of the month yet, but I had a strong nudge to do a tarot reading this week. Maybe someone out there needs to hear the message. It’s always my hope that the message reaches the person who needs it. So, here we go.
The Knight of Pentacles is always a welcome card as it depicts long-term abundance and steady progress. This knight isn’t impressed by get-rich schemes or lazy shortcuts. He understands that putting in solid daily effort will yield the most lasting and meaningful results. This is true for your mundane daily tasks as well. Suiting up and showing up every day creates abundance in many ways. It’s good to set realistic goals, then take steps to meet those goals. The warning here is to avoid burnout, and your routine will transform into a successful daily practice.
All aces in the tarot deck represent new beginnings of some sort. The Ace of Swords is indicative of mental clarity and bright new ideas. The hand emerging from the cloud suggests the new idea is divinely inspired. It also may suggest that a new or emerging idea requires immediate action to come to fruition. This ace represents the first exciting step in the process. Trust your intuition to guide you.
At its essence, The Hierophant represents a teacher or learning from a teacher. The path to learning is never complete. This card encourages you to stay open to new courses of study and to honor tradition while also forming your own unique set of beliefs and rituals. It is said that when the student is ready, the teacher will appear. Is that teacher you? Are you in a position to share your wisdom with others?
MY TAKEAWAY:
I feel the overall message in these three cards is a beautiful flow of suiting up, showing up, being open to new clarity or ideas, and seeking knowledge or sharing knowledge. For me, on a personal level, the Knight really speaks to the way I want to approach creating a life of abundance. The new idea that requires immediate action from me is moving forward in opening up tarot readings to the public. In doing so, I step into the role of a teacher of sorts.
How about you? Do these cards speak to any aspect of your life? Let’s talk!
I absolutely cried when this Angel card showed up for this week’s post. Doesn’t it fit perfectly with the reading? So beautiful!

Hi Jan, a lovely and uplifting message this week. New beginnings are always interesting.
I love this reading Jan. I will happily claim it. <3
Love the reading, Jan. I’m still thinking about how it pertains to me. I’ll see you soon and we can discuss it.
A marvelous reading, Jan, and one that I probably need to choose every day. Lol. I feel terribly stuck while also running around like an out-of-breath maniac. But that quote about change says it all, doesn’t it? Ain’t that the truth. And therein likely lies the solution. 🙂
I’m glad you enjoyed the post, Diana. We all run around like maniacs daily, but sometimes we have to pause and take a look at it all. Thank you for stopping by!
Yes, we do. My intentions for this year were way out of whack. I’ll need to take a breather and regroup (change) in the fall.
I love how your readings always seem to resonate with so many people. You have such a gift, Jan, and I’m thankful you share it with us. <3 Here's to refocusing and being open to what the Universe brings to us.
Thank you for your sweet comment, Mar. I’m so glad the readings resonate with others. I want to share anything that might be uplifting or helpful on this crazy journey. Thank you so much for stopping by! Hugs!
The Andy Worhol quote is one of my favorites. I used to use it at the start of a training class I taught at work. Welcome back, Jan!
What a great quote to open a class with, Dan. I love that. Thanks for visiting! I’ve got lots of catching up to do.
As someone who used to be fairly shy, this message has been the daily philosophy I have tried to live by for decades. Time is what we make of it. Instead of making excuses and finding reasons not to do something, the attitude should be, “Yeah, why not?”
I love that attitude, Pete! And you shy?? Really? You are right about time being what we make it. We are allotted the same 24 hours each day, and it’s up to us what we do with it. Thank you for stopping by and chiming in!
My students would never have guessed I used to be shy as I was known for doing outlandish things at school. One day we had a dress-up day called Backwards Day at school. Most kids wore their shirts or hats backward. Some tried wearing shoes on the wrong feet. I wore my tidy whities over my pants. I look back at that now and shake my head. ?
I can connect with this reading. Recently, I bought a new car to give my now-driving son my old car. I was worried about being able to afford the car payments and the increase in insurance, but I just kept focusing on abundance and knowing that I would figure it out. Three weeks later, my part-time online job kicked back into gear! I had a new idea of a mini-memoir through my travels, and I’m still playing around with it. I still have my WIPs I need to work on, but I’m excited about having a new idea for a book. That inspiration has been a bit dormant. As for teaching, well… I’m a teacher. Lol! I’m actually mentoring new teachers and will be doing a couple of workshops in a few weeks to share my experiences. So, all in all, the reading definitely resonates. Great reading, Jan!

That is all so awesome, Yvette! I love it when all the dots connect, and a reading makes sense. Thank you so much for sharing. Focusing on plenty rather than not enough is magic!
And yes, you are a teacher, so that definitely fits. How exciting to have a new idea for a min-memoir! Thank you so much for sharing today! Hugs!
I love the message on the angel card! I feel like I’ve embraced that recently (with assistance from the Divine). ☺️❤️
I love that, Mae! We are definitely getting Divine assistance on so many levels right now as the world continues to spin out of control. Thank you so much for stopping by. I’m glad you enjoyed the post!
I love the quote and angel card too, Jan. Your reading resonated with me as well. I went to a local psychic faire this weekend and did another aura reading and tarot card reading. Both focused on my writing and a new project that I need to get going on. It is definitely more spiritual but I have no idea how it will play out other than to trust my gut. One lady went on and on about how well I can tell stories and had learned a lot about the craft…lol but I never told her what I wrote. It was timely for sure.
I love things like that, Denise! When they tell you about things they have no way of knowing, it validates their gift for sure. I’m glad the reading ties right in with the one you got. I’d love to see your new aura photo. It’s always interesting how they can change depending on what kind of vibration we are operating in. And YES, we can always trust our gut to help us gauge where we are and if it’s where we need to be. Thank you for stopping by and for your comment!
Great message. I believe in instinct–gut–and this plays off of that perfectly.
I do as well, Jacqui, and my instinct has never let me down. Thank you for stopping by!
I’m also at a point where I need to refocus on time management. It’s been almost a year since my retirement and like many told me, I don’t have as much time as I thought I would. But I also waste time. I’m shifting my focus on several things.
The angel card says it all!
I totally relate, Joan. When I look back at the end of the day, I can see where I wasted so much of it. Denise’s Story Empire post really resonated with me this morning. Thank you for stopping by and leaving a comment! Hugs!
This reading is so powerful. All cards merge together into one message. Amazing!
I agree, Erika. I love it so much when the Universe leaves absolutely no room for doubt. And the way the angel card ties in with it all is just beautiful. Thank you for stopping by!
From all sides its pointing toward the same spot. Really awesome!
I love that Andy Warhol quote. It’s so true.
I loved it too, Darlene. It is profound truth! Thanks for visiting.
I don’t know if it’s meant for me or not but it’s a great message.
I love your comment, Jeanne. I’m glad you enjoyed it.
Wow, the Angel card! Yes, that one is definitely speaking to me…loud and clear. Love it, Jan! Thanks for sharing this morning. It’s a great way to start a new week.
That is such a beautiful card and ties in so perfectly with the tarot reading. I’m glad you enjoyed it, Jill. I wish you a great week ahead, and a thousand thank yous for all your support!
I don’t think this one is pointing toward me. I’m still sick and am crawling back to the office. I have too much work to do and even a slower effort is still progress. My mind isn’t even all that clear.
I hope you are 100% recovered soon, Craig! Summer colds are the worst. I agree that slower effort is still progress. Your mind will clear. One step at a time. Sending you healing vibes!
Thanks, Jan.
This is fascinating timing for me, Jan! Just before reading this, I’d decided to step away from publishing reviews for a while and read for pleasure, which will allow me to spend my limited energy on projects close to my heart. So, once the last review post publishes on my blog soon, that will be it for a while. I’ll still publish for authors in my online circle, but definitely not traditionally published for now.
This reading seems to tell me to go for it.
Thanks for sharing. Have a wonderful week, and huge hugs ???
I love that the message resonated with you, Harmony. And I love your decision to read for your own personal pleasure. It would be a different thing if you were getting paid for the mainstream reviews, as I do when I review for Lone Star Literary. But I too, want to read what I WANT to, not what I feel like I have to. Thank you for your wonderful comment! Hugs!
