Motivation Monday – #Meditation – #TarotReading – #DragonOracleCard

Happy Monday. It seems most of us are dealing with this huge winter storm, but I’ve made the best of it writing on the second Bargainers novel. So, when I saw this quote from Robert Frost, it really hit home.

Robert Frost Quote

This short meditation invigorated me!

This week’s message from the Tarot Cards.

The Four of Pentacles represents building stability or conserving resources. Feeling financially stable is a concern for everyone and once you’ve achieved some level of comfort, it’s easy to focus on maintaining what you’ve got and can sometimes lose sight of potential growth. Affirm to yourself that you are stable and safe and remember that you will always have what you need. Conserve what you’ve earned without closing yourself off to new paths of abundance.

The Ace of Cups signifies a new love or new relationships. The divine is offering you the love gift, which can arrive in many forms, including self-love, a new relationship, or a new connection that will bring love, peace and happiness into your life. Be open to receive. From the aspect of work or career, The Ace of Cups indicates you may be enjoying your current work with renewed enthusiasm.

Keywords for The Chariot are: inspired action and momentum. This is a card of movement. You are embarking on an important journey or moving toward the next level of your life goals. The Chariot asks you to have clear intentions, focus, and an inspired plan for action. If you’re not sure what to tackle right now, listen to your intuition and let it guide you toward the next actionable steps.

MY TAKEAWAY:

Once we reach a place in life where we truly know we will always have what we need, there comes a bit of peace and satisfaction. Notice I did not say you will always have what you want, but our needs are provided for. Then the energy from both the Ace of Cups and Chariot are all about love and inspired action. For me, on a personal level, these cards are simply a confirmation of where I am at this moment. I have what I need. I’m working enthusiastically on the second book in the Bargainers Series and I am taking steps toward reaching my goals.

What about you? Does this reading speak to you in any way? Let’s talk!

  1. I’m sorry to hear that your weather has been cold and crappy, Jan. But what a wonderful excuse to stay inside and write! I’m also taking full advantage of it. I liked your interpretation of the cards today. They seem to fit with a stable, calm energy that encourages us to follow our passions. Thanks for the reading and Happy Writing!

    1. A stable calm energy really does fit this reading. I am happy you stopped by and happy to hear you are taking advantage of writing time. It’s amazing how fast the pages start to add up when you work a little every day. Thank you for visiting and leaving a comment! Cheers to happy writing!

  2. Thanks for the reading. I’m grateful to have everything I need in my life between a great partner and friend, our terrific son, and a grandson on the way.

  3. I love the Frost quote. Well said. Great reading, and you are right. What we need and want are two different things. Xo

    1. Thank you for stopping by, Denise. I’m glad you enjoyed the quote and the reading. And there will always be things we want, but gratitude for what we do have is a great starting place. Have a great week!

  4. Great Frost quote, Jan! When I’m not sure what to do next, I’m often guilty of moving too soon. I may listen to the cards with my next project and let my intuition slowly guide me toward the right path.

    1. Hi, Linda. Thank you for stopping by today. I think we always need to follow our intuition – that still small voice that we have to be quiet to hear. It will never steer us wrong.

  5. This is another reading that leaves me speechless. All three cards in its orchestration speak volumes to me. They make so much sense and are so encouraging and confirming. I still need confirmation when even the signs almost hit me. So, thank you for sending me a confirmation today in the form of this reading, Jan ?

    1. I am the same, Erika. I always need encouragement and confirmation even when I know deep down the truth. I’m so glad you enjoyed the post today. I appreciate you stopping by and leaving a comment. Hugs!

  6. I definitely feel content at this point in my life’s journey, Jan. What a change from the turmoil of last year! I am truly blessed to have all that I need! 🙂

  7. Wonderful reading, Jan. And I love the meditation and quote. All of these speak to me and my life right now. Well done! ?

  8. The Frost quote makes me feel much better about the fact that I still haven’t figured out who the culprit is in the mystery-ish book I’m working on. I’m trying to avoid tears, but I’m afraid for some of my characters.

I hope you have a great week, Jan and I hope the storms end soon.

  9. Love this reading, Sister. It seems an affirmation that everything will work out one way or another. I don’t have to find a place under a bridge for my cardboard box yet. Brrrr, I’d hate to be out in this cold. I wouldn’t survive it I’m afraid. So, I’ll enjoy the things I have and give thanks. But I’m sure hoping, praying this new venture will work out. I’m warm and have food. My life is good. And we’re protected by that little dragon. :-) Love you.

    1. I’m so glad you enjoyed the reading today, sister, and yes, I believe it is an affirmation that everything will work out for our highest good. Yes. We have so much to be grateful for. That little dragon is gorgeous, isn’t he? Thank you for stopping by!

  10. Great reading. It seems to fit where I am right now, but the chariot worries me. I seem to remember it as being like the pinnacle of achievement. I don’t really want life as it is to be my pinnacle.

    1. Never fear, Craig. Remember that everything about our lives are made up of choices. You choose your pinnacle. Glad you enjoyed the reading and I appreciate you leaving a comment.

  11. I’m always inspired by your readings, Jan. Y’know how some books pour out of you while others feel like giving birth? Well, I finally hit a nice stride with the WIP. So, the Chariot fits. I’m also cruising along (and loving) Jagged Feathers. The Chariot fits there, too. Have an amazing day, my friend!

    1. I totally feel the same about my current WIP! In fact, my characters are about to embark on a road trip (The Chariot). 🙂 So exciting. I’m thrilled that you enjoy the readings and so happy you are enjoying Jagged Feathers! Have a great productive week ahead!

  12. This message absolutely resonated with me, Jan. I’m moving forward on a new path and this includes more love and peace–spreading this outward. Have a fabulous week. 🙂

  13. I love that feeling of having made it to serenity–that you had enough to live out your life with grace and peace. For a long time, that was my goal. Maybe it explains my focus on survival.

    1. That’s an interesting observation, Jacqui. It could definitely explain your focus on survival, but look at what a great collection of stories that focus provided you. Thank you for stopping by!

  14. Hi Jan, a great reading. I hope I shall not find any new loves or hobbies this year. I already have far too many. I’m making Michael a guitar cake for his upcoming 18th birthday and I have a new art project in mind ?

    1. Lol, Robbie! Your comment made me chuckle. I totally understand. Your plate is always full. Can’t wait to see images of the guitar cake. I know it will be outstanding! Thank you for stopping by.!
