It’s almost the halfway mark through this blog tour and I have had a blast visiting and responding to comments!
For day 10 of this tour, we visit with an author who was a guest on my site yesterday. 🙂 We didn’t plan it. It just turned out that way. Jacqui Murray wears many hats. She is an educator, a techie geek, a coach, and an author. Her latest series of books is set in the time before time, the days of prehistoric man.
While I have not yet read these books, they are waiting, rather impatiently, on my Kindle and I know I’m in for a treat! Here’s how Ms. Murray describes this series:
The trilogy, Dawn of Humanity, is set 1.8 million years ago and features Lucy, a Homo habilis. She and her kind were the start of man’s genus, Homo. They were the first creatures to create tools, routinely walk upright, and solve problems they’d never encountered. They were the first creatures to create tools, routinely walk upright, and solve problems they’d never encountered. But Lucy had thin skin, no claws, and tiny teeth–pretty defenseless in a world of sabertooth cats and thick-hided mammoth. There was no reason to believe she’d survive much less thrive.
Intrigued yet? Grab a book from this series, then head on over to Jacqui’s place for another Saddled Hearts tour stop!
Don’t forget to play along on the scavenger hunt!
Hidden within the blog posts are clues you will need to look for. The theme is “Things You’d Find On A Ranch.” When you find these clues, email your answers to me at SaddledHearts@gmail.com With CONTEST In the subject line. The person with the most correct entries will win a $25 Amazon Gift Card! The runner-up will receive an eBook of Saddled Hearts! It Pays To Play!
The link to each blog post will be listed here with comments closed. I’d be thrilled and honored if you’d saddle up and ride along with me as we traverse the blogging world!
