This is a book that will appeal to all ages, even though it is classified as a children’s book. It is a pure delight to read!
For me, it was fun to revisit the fairies from the first two books in the series. I read those books with my granddaughter and we shared lots of ooohs, aaaahs, and laughs over them.
I am especially fond of the fairling, Lilly, and her kind and caring nature. But, Pearle, Rosie, and Ivy are fabulous characters as well as Boris and Jack.
The antics of Boris and Jack keep me laughing. They are typical mischievous boys inside and out. In this book, the wish Boris made in book 3 of the series is causing quite a lot of chaos in the mushroom patch. What little fairy boy wouldn’t love an endless supply of moss bombs? But when everyone joins in, including the adult fairies, it turns into an all-out war – boys against girls.
This book introduces the fairies to the scary and dreaded humans. I love that the author chose to use a child for that introduction. And while we view a child as small, to the tiny fairies, it is a giant. The message in this story is one of overcoming fears and working together as a team to accomplish the impossible. It left me with a warm and tender feeling and even more in love with these tiny fairies than ever.
As I said, it is a pure delight for people of all ages.

Sounds like a great series and for Thrasher to win the mom award shows how wholesome her series likely is.
What really caught my attention was the “driving on the right of the road” because prevention goes a long way and we need more and more of the early education for future drivers or young drivers
☀️?
Sounds like a cute series. Best wishes to Amanda. Thanks for hosting, Jan.
Thanks for sharing these lovely books Jan. I am sure my grandkids are going to enjoy them. Wishing Amanda great success.
This just seems like a super cute, fun, refreshing series and I want to sit down and escape right now. Grandbaby isn’t quite old enough for read-alouds yet, but books don’t go stale, right? Thanks for a great review!
Nope, they don’t go stale and they don’t require any food or water. 🙂 It’s a win-win and your grandbaby will enjoy these stories! Thanks for leaving a comment, Kristine!
