Welcome to another Tarot Tuesday!
If you are just joining me, let me explain the inspiration to begin these posts. In Texas, and all across the country, Taco Tuesday is a popular day when Tacos are usually 99 cents. So, I had the inspiration, or Angel nudge as I like to think of it, to create a Tarot Tuesday. Each Tuesday I will post a different Tarot card and give its meaning. I pray and ask for the right card that will bring a universal message.
I created a short video to demonstrate how I pull the card for the posts. If youβre interested, hereβs aΒ LINK.
Today’s card and message for us comes in the form of the Nine of Pentacles!
It’s been a while since we’ve had a Pentacle card, so to refresh your memory, the Suit of Pentacles Tarot cards deal with the physical or external level of consciousness and thus mirror the outer situations of your health, finances, work, and creativity.
You have worked hard to create abundance in your life, and the Nine of Pentacles says now you can finally enjoy the fruits of your labor. Thanks to your independent efforts, self-confidence and discipline, you attained a well-deserved success and created a stable foundation for your material wealth and comfort. Now, sit back, relax and enjoy the luxuries and pleasures of the good life β money, leisure time, fun, material comfort and rest. You deserve it!
When the Nine of Pentacles appears in a Tarot reading, do not be scared to splurge, indulge or pamper yourself, especially as a reward for all of your hard work. Treat yourself to a special occasion or a personal gift to celebrate your journey here. You have already achieved so much, and while you may not be at the finish line just yet, this is your opportunity to acknowledge your achievements and re-energize yourself for the final phase.
The Nine of Pentacles also speaks of financial independence. The woman in this card has created a luxurious lifestyle by her own actions and efforts. She encourages you to do the same β to create abundance and independence so that you can take care of yourself in the long-term. Invest wisely and seek financial advice to make the most of your wealth. Donβt rely on others to support you; this Nine is an independent woman.
While the suit of Pentacles typically focuses on material wealth and gain, this card also suggests that you are in harmony with the environment around you. You appreciate the beauty and abundance found in nature, and you can harness this high-vibe energy to bring pleasure into your life. You may enjoy passing your time in the beauty of nature with picnics or walks in the park.
I’m not quite sure how this card applies to my own personal situation in life. I have worked hard all my life at whatever I’ve done, but as far as financial independence – it’s still a distant dream and goal. But this card is encouraging and I look forward to manifesting this fully!
How about you?
Thank you for joining me! See you next Tuesday for another inspiring message from the Universe via the Tarot Cards!
As always, I use the Rider-Waite Radiance deck and BiddyTarot.com for interpretations.
This is a most interesting card, Jan. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks, Robbie! I’m happy you stopped by!
Happy to pop by and see this inspirational card. From you mouth to God’s ears, lol <3
I’m so glad you dropped in, Debby! I love that saying!

I’m very fond of the suit of Pentacles, especially as I am represented by the Queen of Pentacles. I’ve been using The Tarot of the Cat People for some 30 years now.
Hello, Grace! I’m so happy to have you join in on Tarot Tuesdays!! Please feel free to add any of your insights in the comments! Thank you for following and commenting!

I hardly ever splurge, but this card encourages that kind of activity. Thanks, Jan. Now all I have to do is think up something to splurge on. π
Ha! Ha! I’m sure you can think of something, John. π Thanks so much for stopping by!
Maybe three fingers of Willitt Bourbon.
The pentacles – my element. Yay!! And how amazing to see the nine of pentacles. Really timely. I just reduced the working time at the company I work in order to reduce the stress and make room to unfold in my own projects and company more again. Really fantastically fitting!!
How wonderful, Erika! That is super fantastic and I hope all of your projects take wings! Thank you for stopping by! Hugs!
Ah, thank you, Jan. Your Tarot posts are wonderful and I am always curious to see what card shows up π

A terrific card Jan and one we all aspire to achieve… 2020 is looking to be a good year in many respects and I look forward to achieving what this card promises… xx
YES! I pray for abundance for all of us! It is a terrific card and I agree that 2020 is looking to be a good year. Thank you for stopping by, Sally!

Happy Tuesday and New Year, Jan! I hope you enjoyed a wonderful Christmas. π
Like Mae, I feel the abundance of harmony and a sense of peace in this card. Cheers to that! Thanks so much for sharing, as always.
That is so beautiful, Natalie. I am so glad that it resonates that way for you as well! Thank you for stopping by!
I would love to manifest this fully, but I do get tastes of it….lol. I’m rich in ways not financial though:) I picked my year card and came up with the tower….twice. I didn’t want it but twice in a row was hard to ignore. I will see what this new year brings, hopefully some financial independence for all of us from this card. Thapnks, Jan.
Oh no, Denise! The Tower card is the only card in the Tarot deck that scares me. I pray that it does not affect your year. I choose twelve cards every year on New Year’s Eve (one for each month of the year) and see how it all turns out. It’s amazing, in hindsight, how accurate it is. Thank you for stopping by and YES, we could all use some financial independence!
Not a fan of that card either…and to pick it twice…yikes! I’m hoping it’s just continuing the strange last year I had and its wrapping up. See where I land:) I’m definitely taking a harder look at my health though…time to take care of me again.
Great card! I’d like to think it refers to money, but I doubt it. I don’t think I have any coming in the foreseeable future. We are both hard workers as were our parents. They taught us to value a lot of other things over material–food on the table, a place to sleep, clothes to wear, family to lean on. I’m still basking in the afterglow of your visit. I always enjoy when you come. Love you, sister.
We did have a great visit! I’m so glad I came when I did. Yes, we know how to work, for sure. I’d sure love to get a few more pentacles in my pocket for all my hard work. π Of course, abundance comes in many forms, not just money, and from that aspect, I have plenty. π I’d just like to have extra so I could publish these two books that are almost ready! Love you and thank you for stopping by!
I feel like I need a few more pentacles in my pockets. Thus, I keep working.
Exactly, Craig. Me too! π
I like the tie-in to the environment. The card itself is very rich-looking (not in a monetary way) with the abundance of the grape vines, the beautiful landscape in the background and the golden sky.
It makes me think of harmony and a lovely, peaceful setting.
Great point, Mae! Abundance comes in many forms, not just money or material things. Thank you for that reminder! Hugs!

Wow, what a powerful card. It spoke to me as Iβm a very independent person. I never splurge on myself, but will splurge on others. Rob is always telling me I need to buy myself something nice every once in awhile. I just might take that to heart at this time. I only splurge on a new book, thatβs my reward to myself. Maybe Iβll do something I have always wanted and never done before. Get a manicure. Hum?? We will see!!
Thanks for sharing this with us. This card does indeed energize!
Love and hugs my sweet friend.
What a wonderful idea, Tonya! Rick was always encouraging me to splurge on myself, but it’s hard to do that. It would make me feel selfish. π Crazy, huh? Yep, a manicure would be a fun thing to gift yourself! Go for it!! Love you and thanks for stopping by!
