Greetings!! I am so excited today to travel across the globe to visit with a blogger/author who I greatly admire.

Sally Cronin’s wonderful Smorgasbord is a place where you can find everything from book features, health advice, funnies, reviews and everything in between.
Sally is such a supportive and encouraging human. I deeply appreciate her sharing my short story, “Choosing Bella.”
Please go over and take a look!
If you’re not following her blog yet, today’s a good day to remedy that!
Also, today is Rick Sikes’ earthly birthday. I wonder…do souls celebrate? I don’t know, but I’ll celebrate it for him. I made a short video featuring one of his songs and a few images to share on social media. I hope you enjoy it!

A wonderful video, Jan. It’s so nice to hear this song. Going over to Sally’s.
Look forward to reading your short! Not sure how rhey celebrate on the other side, but I believe they know we do. Happy birthday, Rick.
I hope you enjoy the short story, Denise. And I agree that even if they don’t celebrate, they know when we do. Thank you for stopping by!
I think he’s still with you, Jan, and appreciates the memories.
I agree, Jacqui. I see signs now and then. 🙂 Thank you so much for visiting and leaving a comment.
As birthdays are generally celebrations of and filled with love, I imagine that they are celebrated in Spirit! Happy Birthday to Rick!
Thank you for your comment, Annette. I like to think so. 🙂 Hugs!
Happy Birthday to Rick! As for your question, I think those on the other side do celebrate birthdays. About a year following our mom’s crossing, I had a very strange, very vivid dream of Mom celebrating her birthday with the angels. I was crying and tried to get in, but the angels blocked me. I don’t truly know what that was but it was more than just a dream. Have a good day, Sister.
I remember that dream, sister. Maybe they do celebrate, but in a different way. I love the visual of Mom celebrating her birthday with the angels! Love you so much. Thanks for visiting!
Thanks for the lovely re-share Jan and I always feel something, perhaps imaginary when my mother and my father’s birthdays roll round… perhaps it is the memories but I like to think they know they are being celebrated. ♥
I’m happy to re-share, Sally. And I have to agree with you about feeling something. Maybe it’s the memories. Maybe not? Anyway, I’m celebrating! Thank you for visiting.
