Good morning, beautiful souls. As we embark on the last week in March, I hope you find some inspiration from today’s post. This quote is so empowering. Only we can change the direction of our thoughts. When we find ourself sinking into negativity, a simple thought can shift that into a positive. It works!
I found this short meditation to be calming and centering. It’s always best to listen to these meditations through headphones for less distraction and deeper diving.
And now for direction from the tarot cards.
We’ve had the Six of Pentacles recently, but apparently, we need the message again. In the ‘what you need to know’ position, the theme of this card is giving and receiving. The man is holding the scales of balance in one hand while sharing his wealth or knowledge with the other. We are all here to learn, and it’s our responsibility to share our knowledge with others, as they share with us. This card asks us to examine our relationship with giving and receiving. There is a balance between the two, and when we go heavy one way or the other, things are thrown off kilter. The challenge is to find a personal balance, and that might look different for each of us.
The Page of Cups is in the ‘new perspective’ position and brings a message of love, playfulness and emotional intelligence. While the Page is grounded, the water in the background indicates emotions. We are encouraged to be open to emotional experiences. It may be as simple as a song on the radio that evokes a feeling. It could be a photo or a message received. What the Page is encouraging us to do is to open ourselves to receiving messages from unexpected sources, including our own intuition.
In the ‘action to take’ position, the Knight of Pentacles sits tall, proud and confident on top of his steed. The quest for prosperity moves slowly and steadily. True success is in the long game. Don’t try to rush it. This Knight isn’t impressed by get-rich-quick schemes or lazy shortcuts. Instead, he understands that putting in solid effort daily will yield the most lasting and meaningful results. Showing up fully and enthusiastically in all areas of your life creates abundance in many ways. Set goals, take realistic action steps, avoid burnout and your routine will transform into a successful daily practice.
MY TAKEAWAY:
We get a lot of messages from the cards about finding balance in our lives. I am the first to admit it is a constant work in progress. Anything can throw us off. So continually working to achieve a good balance in giving and receiving, incorporating playfulness, embracing emotional experiences, and holding steady to solid daily effort will bring nothing but positive results. What do you think? Do the messages from the cards apply to you in any way?
Drawn back to the Dragon Cards today, a beautiful message that goes hand-in-hand with the Six of Pentacles (giving and receiving) and the Page of Cups popped out.
Hi Jan, sometimes balance is imposed on you whether you want it or not. My sister arrived unexpectedly two weeks ago and stayed for three days. My plans changed to accommodate this 💓🌹
You are so right. Sometimes balance is imposed by circumstances or other outside events. I hope you have enjoyed your sister’s visit. What an unexpected treat. Thank you for commenting.
I did and mom was thrilled 💞
I’m with you on balance being a work in progress, Jan. Some weeks are better than others for me. This has to be one of my favorite dragons – so pretty!
I agree, Teri. Some weeks I do better at achieving a balance than others. It’s always a work in progress. I agree about the little dragon. So pretty! Thank you for stopping by!
I’m kind of stuck on the positions. The knight riding away from the others has to mean something. If he were on the left he’d be heading toward them. Maybe he’s taking their lessons and moving on.
I like your takeaway, Craig. Moving away slowly and steadily toward solid abundance. Sounds good to me. Thank you for visiting!
Great reading Jan. The world needs to find balance. 🙂 x
That’s the understatement of the year, Debby! Thanks for visiting!
🙂
Balance can be so hard to achieve. Sometimes it feels like walking a tightrope, then other moments it all falls blissfully into place. I hope and strive to achieve the latter, and lately, I’ve been fairly blessed. I pray life will continue in that vein.
Wishing you an awesome week, Jan!
P.S., I always love the little dragons 🐉 🙂
Thank you for stopping by and leaving a comment, Mae. I agree that balance can be elusive. I am happy you are getting a reprieve. Glad you enjoy the little dragons. I do, too. Hugs!
Great interpretation and reading, Jan. Thank you for sharing these jewels.
Always a pleasure, Gwen. Thank you for stopping by!
